At least it's not canon, that's a small bit of comfort...

It's a good design for a luxury ship but it's not Enterprise worthy and it could use some improvements.

Maybe it's one of those designs which doesn't look good in 2D.

:x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

It's a wheelchaired starship... built higher and not broad enough to compensate.

Also the saucer is connected in a very unaesthetic way :X

It's not the best design in the universe, but it's not horrible either. Besides, the comments about what people wanted in the first place were very contradictory; people wanted something original, but they also wanted something familiar, often times just like an older design. This tries to do both and you all throw a hissy fit. It's not even the second page and I'm done with this thread.

it looks like they mixed the sovereign, intrepid, and the ambassador class starship into one...

Wow.  It's like I can see a good ship design, but it's buried under the ugly.

I guess those parts on the saucer are supposed to be glass?  Instead they look like bulges.

Having a swallow-tailed rear is an okay idea.  The way they did it, however, is very poor.

Honestly the concept picture and the render look good, because you can't see the rear.  The middle set of pictures is just plain ugly though.  None of the shots make it clear, so... what on earth is that nub in the side-view?  What IS it?

It'd be too bad if they make a terrible ship and keep Adam's name on it even if it doesn't look like his contest entry anymore.

You should see some of the ships in Star Wars (from its expanded universe)...they make that thing look cool.

I like the rendered version but there's something wrong with the clay model that they painted, the sides that connect the saucer to the secondary hull are too thick. Not so sure of it being an Enterprise though. It strikes me as more of a large battleship or a dreadnought.

Well, ya'll have been pretty kind to the new design, so I'm gonna say it.

It looks like pounded dog crap...

Just my opinion of course.

Edit: I dislike the design very much, but the makers of it worked very hard to make their creation, and I deeply respect that. One day I hope to become that good. I don't like the direction they took it though.
