Yes... and then maybe we'll add everything from Star Wars and Balance the Death Star so that an X-Wing could win in a head on, 1-on-1 fight...

Sarcasm doesn't translate well on the net... A race with a Construction ship that builds Planets and comes with Worker-Bees that can destroy a Galaxy-X and Steamrunner together without trouble. Now lets try to figure out how many canon 8472 Battleships you'd need to take down a light Destroyer.
If you want to see this race balanced, look at stock A2's 8472 and Borg.

TACTICAL FUSION CUBES

i forgot all about those.
they were cool, but i learned the hard way, you needed to build the LESSER awesome super cube. they seemed to hold up better.

You lost a Tac F-Cube to crew loss?
Never mind...
The described race won't happen to be ruled by a time-traveling Wesley Crusher, right?
It reeks of Mary Sue-ness, as Tyler commented.
As for it being an insult... Well, no, but it's definitely NOT a good thing. Like that ST fanfic where the Mary Sue managed to bed Spock out of Pon Farr season. Usually people have adverse reactions to Mary Sues.
As a rule of thumb, if your reaction to something or someone is "Yeah, right...", there are high chances you are before a Mary Sue. It's called "breaking the suspension of disbelief".

Mary Sue Empire? Talk about Female Fatale. However, the Hommineans were made up long before I had ever even heard of the Xindi, so they are kind of like them, but I didn't get my inspiration of them from the Xindi. However, I must now talk about the Homminean's enemy. The Black Invaders! (At least that's what the Hommineans call them) A namless powerful species, they are large, violent, and clad in disturbing body armor. They say nothing but guttural battle cries, and the occasional understandable threat. (I got my inspiration for them from the Borg, Klingons, Species 8472, The Yuzhan Vong, and my own imagination) The Black Invaders live for violence and bloodshed, going out of their way to slaughter and destroy. Technologically, they are actually inferior to the Hommineans, but that does not end their unstoppable violent rage. Their vessels are made up of several large wedge shaped center sections with enormous black spines stretching in every direction. The vessels still use primitive laser weapons, but they are extremely powerful, and well phased allowing them to easily breach defensive screens, and blow holes in the enemy vessel. They themselves, have weak shields, but really good hull armor. They are also cumbersome and slow, They made first contact with the Federation when the USS Jules Verne (Oberth class) met a warship. Hailing was unsuccessful, and the vessel brutally attacked. Fortunately, the USS Mann (Phalanx class) was nearby and attacked. The Invaders showed their exceptional armor when they blocked 8 quantum torpedoes without major hull damage. The Mann manged to destroy the vessel, but insulted, the Invaders prepared for war. And they are now right on the Federations doorstep...
