I have just wondered what type of aliens other people have thought up. My personal aliens are called the Hommineans. They live on Hommine. (Pronounced hoe-meen-ee) They are a very advanced species, and although when I made them up, they were not meant to have any relation to Star Trek, but I have decided to bring them up anyway. They do not use Warp Drive, but prefer to use a strange device that literally transforms the ship into light. There are several subspecies of them, but the main ones are similar to upright plesiasaurs. There is another that are very tall, and striped, very large eyes, and slightly dumber than the first species. (They are VERY easy to trip) Their weapons are almost entirely based off plasma. Their most common vessel is a battleship armed with plasma pulse weapons, phasic energy pulsars, and energized plasma torpedoes. They also have a powerful broadside of various other weapons, from lasers, to gauss cannons, to more plasma weapons. They can be totally self sufficient in space using solar power, and collecting particles to run fusion reactors. They have sided with the Federation, and are a valuable military ally. What do you guys think?

Well, I'm trying to make up my own species... but it always comes at a dead end somewhere.... here is a Xeno Biology of the Species.

The Galaxtus Empire (Species name: Galax, Borg Designation: Species 901000):

The Galaxtus Empire is of a highly advanced species that is believed to have surpassed the Federation's point of technology Millions of years ago. Just recently a large Trans-Spacial Portal opened and a vessel as large as a Borg sphere came out of it. At first it was believed to be a battleship. But is only their equivelent of a constructor. Their vessels contains thousands of Galax, one attempt to transport aboard their vessel nearly failed. But the one person who made it aboard was beamed back suffering the effects of a rather toxic and corrosive atmosphere. According to the analysis it is believed that their atmosphere is mostly made of gaseous Chlorine, Mercury, and a small amount of hydrogen and helium.

Then came the second encounter, the USS Odin (Sovereign Class) encountered the vessel again. Except there were construction drones that appeared to be constructing a planet. When a recording of their encounter was shown to Starfleet Intellegence, it then put things on a high alert for any other encounters. It wasn't long until the USS Allamo (Steamrunner Class) as well as the USS Galaxy (Galaxy X Prototype) and the USS Incursion (Intrepid Class) encountered what was believed to be a scout drone. Both the USS Galaxy and the USS Allamo were destroyed by shield penetrating plasma beam weapons.

It is believed that teh Galaxtus Empire is one of the largest threats ever encountered. Even more threatening than the Borg Collective.

So there is their Xeno Biology of known knowledge about them. So, I could use some help making them. I'm going to need a highly experienced modeler and some coders if I plan on making this race.

What.......... you this Galax isn't a species name suitible for a multi-million year old empire? To me I think Galax would be given if they'd plan on ruling many galaxies... but I think you shouldn't make fun of someone's idea... >:(

Note: mary sue is a description/nickname
for a fictional figure/race/idea etc. that refletcs the inner wishes of the author and this way appears to be too perfect ot be possible.

right, tyler?^^

Age means only that they have been decaying longer, and is overused.

Did you actually read that article or just like the title?

Yeah, I read it. Sure they have almost god-like power. Doesn't mean it can't be balanced if the reace was added (because of slow build times, you could build a battleship in the same time they make their destroyer.

Balance? They would be harder to 'balance' than a fully canon Species 8472.

Yes, none the less it is possible!
