As straight as I am, some people might be offended by the title of your topic. It's a little homophobic.  :sweatdrop:

I find your title slightly offensive, and it's missing an apostrophe.

Too bad the show never had Spock and Kirk make out, so much potential there to show a future where homosexuality is completely tolerated. Would've also been a hot episode.

I doubt a gay Kirk would have worked out, considering his record with women. Bisexual maybe, but not homosexual.

I never said gay Kirk, the homosexuality I was referring to was the kiss specifically (male on male), not Kirk overall. He probably will sleep with anything that he can talk to, it was even implied in an episode he slept with that girl who was a monster with hundreds of tentacles in disguise after Spock told him what she really was.

I highly doubt Ewm would be making an anti-gay remark as I have never known him to be the type that would do so.

The title at least to me implies that he is discussing how wrong it is to put Kirk and Spock together as lovers  :whistling: . Imagining sexual tension ... weee... slash... where the 'ell did that come from?

Warning sign on the bridge:
"By entering this bridge you agree that Starfleet is not liable for any sexual harassment or accidents as a result of movement while the bridge is shaking. All crewmembers are to keep their hands, lips, and crotches off of each other, except within the captain's quarters. No fat chicks. -Starfleet policy 1496-Section 5."

The whole "no relationships between officers of different ranks" thing was invented by Voyager if I remember correctly (and firmly glued in place by Enterprise.) Some sexual tension would certainly make Star Trek II,III, and IV more interesting...

And there are lots of straights who'd gladly challenge you to a thumb-wrestling match for disrespecting their gay friends.

And by that I mean that, if I were to catch you saying something like that in front of me, I'd make you look like a tiny, tiny man in front of everyone you cared about.  :)

  Just for the record

Note taken..... I am so used to putting honesty b4 tactfulness. :pinch:

@ Boggy

Trust me, I would hate to have to lose control of my Klingon temper if someone was to mess with me. Its hard enough putting up with my younger bros.

Well said Boggz, I for one am that 'Straight Gu' you refer to. I think it's fair to say that any Star Trek fan must 'tollerate' for lack of a better word, homosexuals.
Star Trek is about the respect of people regardless of who and what they are.

Yeah Gamer:

Star Trek is about combining all races, creeds, and lifestyles together under one bulkhead.
  Just look at Voyager:

Janeway: Woman
Tuvok: Black
Paris: Inbred
Seven: HAWT
Torres: Mexican
Kim: Gay Asian
