Who wins Borg vs Replicators?
Want to say something off topic? Something that has nothing to do with Trek? Post it here.

So it should be obvious by the heading where im going with this so please post who you think would win in a fair (LOL) fight and why. Also im only to season 2 in SGA and Season 9 in SG1 so dont spoil anything for me.
I think that the replicators would win just imagine how many of little things they could get out of a borg cube.

I would say the replicators, because you cant assimilate a machine without reprogramining. and since McKay has difficulty with the base code the borg wouldnt be able to reprogram them in time.

Borg have a little advantage over McKay... numbers and no fear. Plus he uses computers, they are computers. No mater what tech he uses, their mind works a little faster than his.
The winner is the one who screws with the enemy fastest. The question is more likely to be: Replicators or Borg Nanites?

Well, there is always problems comparing two or more races from different universes and it would be difficult to say who would win in a 'fair' fight (assuming they only fight with conventional weapons and all). Besides, which replicators are you referring to, Milky Way or Pegasus?

the fair fight was ment to be sarcasm neither one fights particularity fair. And to the second part i said no spoilers i just saw the first episode that suggested that the replicators are from the Pegasus galaxy. So i dont want to know anything else

Pegasus replicators have a simultaneous advantage and disadvantage. They are nanotechnology. This would make it very easy for them to attack the Borg. On the other hand, the Borg are fully capable (and likely willing) to black out their communications, reducing them to inert particles which the Borg could then recycle to base components.
Milky Way replicators have the same weakness, just in 'chunks' rather than nanites (excluding one type) but have a different advantage. They only need a couple minutes and some neutronium to mass-produce. Additionally, they work mainly through kinetic attack, which the Borg very, very, very rarely if ever at all, tune their shields to.
Strangely, I'd say Milky Way replicators might beat the Collective. Pegasus Replicators, on the other hand, would have their data-streams opened up, all technology recorded, and get recycled.

Not saying anything more on Pegasus due to spoilers :sealed-lips: Just needed to know which u were referring to.
I'd probably say the replicators would win as well, the Replicators are almost immune to energy weapons of any type, primarily use physical attacks, replicate very fast, and they 'are what they eat'. Like the Borg, they also 'assimilate' all advanced technology and as they used to do with the Asgard, would use their own technology against them, and often enhance the technology of ships they capture beyond the original tech. The circumstances would also shape who wins... such as, is there a single replicator loose on a Borg ship? or are the replicators running rampant around the galaxy, consuming the other races and their resources and technology and then facing the Borg?
In any case, the Replicators would probably give the Borg a run for their money, even if they lost in the end.

They lose 1 ship without a fight and they won't be ignoring them anymore...

its Borg NanoPROBES
I dont think there is any question that the (milky way) replicators would eat the borg for breakfast and have the rest of the quadrent by dinner

Check the Nanites thread (silent93's post), you may find it interesting...
... I don't remember a discussion about Tractor Beams...

Im just saying that they have a habit of ignoring people on their ship until they shoot at someone or sabotage part of the ship if they do that with the replicators they will loose.
