:borg::ermm: I'd have to say. Star Trek First Contact is the best st movie developed by paramount. Generations is the best theatrical film. voyage home is the most fun film.

yep, no contest.  First Contact is my favorite.  Not to say that most of the others aren't good, but First contact is the best one yet, imo.

I voted the Undiscovered Country because thats my favorite film starring the original crew. But First Contact is the best for TNG-Era.

First Contact. Good Borg battle, finished by shooting at the crappers. The Sovereign being white instead of grey helps.

Generations was by far the best movie. It is only unfortunate in the sense that that was the first one, and they never made one to top it. In essence, all the movies are about Picard and Data, hope you like these characters.

Picard in Generations is more believable than in First Contact and Insurrection. I also thought Picard was good in Nemesis. In Generations the only scene you could feel iffy about really was the one where he starts crying... which you either believe because of his family line ending, and the death of his nephew, or you think this guy is just crying awkwardly loud and such. But you have great transition for TOS to TNG. You get a bit of Kirk. A nice theme of life/time.

Best scene ever, is the whole Riker and Picard relationship at the beginning of Generations. They're talking on the boat about living at sea, and this is the relationship of First Officer and Captain. Captain gets some bad news and later on the bridge has to deal with Romulan threat. He turns the job over to Riker, and that is one of the best scenes I've ever witnessed. Riker's reaction, (Troi always gets an obvious close up to say 'I'm betazed, when I get attention on screen (in these cases), there's an emotional issue going on'). But Riker is just so bewildered when Picard bluntly states 'Just do it Will' or something like that. It was just so well done. There's no over emphasis. Nice quick scene. But you still see how it normally is between Riker and Picard. I think it builds well.

So Picard's character I just think has it best here. Also like it in insurrection when Data goes crazy, and the scene where Picard says 'I'm not letting go of him' in the shuttle exchange, while clamped to him. A nice connection. Also some goods stuff in Nemesis though. Scene where they encounter the Scimitar. The whole waiting game, he acted that very well. But that really was much better for Data. Killing him making him more human. Supposed to outlive them, but being first to die, and getting B4 as sort of a child.

Riker and Troi have Insurrection.

First Contact was borg heavy... but I didn't think there was much in the movie. But again, loyalty between Picard and Data, really was one of the few memorable things.

haha, theres really just to much to write even for the goods. no real point on focussing on anything bad.

Edit:
Oh and one of my favourite things connecting the movies is how they bring worf into the mix. Best is probably First Contact and Insurrection. First Contact he gets rescued from defiant, you do stil remember how to fire phasers. Stare. and insurrection.. lol they don't even bother. Worf what the hell are you doing here (picard). Worf 'I am ds skdt iesasdfg ksd' tuned out. totally switches to something else and drowns the explanation. Love it.

You like The Undiscovered Country? Huh, I never saw anything but scorn towards that one before (if less than The Final Frontier).

My favourite movie is Insurrection. It is much about morals and live. Can you sacrifice 600people for the greater good? I was very moved when Geordie watches the sun rising. And there is action, too. That movie has everything I like.

4, 6, 8 and 11 are also nice, though 11 lacks a bit of depth. In First Contact the Lily vs Picard scene kicks ass of course "I WILL LET THEM PAY FOR WHAT THEY'VE DONE!!!", great acting. In 6 it's Chang and the scene where they board the Kronos 1. And 4... everything just works in 4, it's funny. Chekov: "Sorry, where are the American warships, please?"

1 was a bit too long, 2 is a submarine movie(but a good one ), 3... I never remember 3, 5 had its moments: the first and the last minute of the movie ;), in 7 they shot down the most beautiful Enterprise, they don't get points for that from me. When I read about 10 I thought it could be a great movie(although everyone who watched it told me it's not). Then I watched it and found out somehow the movie doesn't work, can't really say what it is, it's simply not a good movie. They could have done many things with the Romulans but came up with a Picard clone and Dracula.

I would agree with this but there was that episode in the regular season where they had to relocate those Native American colonists, very sad and moving but they did anyways. I guarantee if Picard had the hots for one of those guys he would try to keep them there too
