You must understand, . is a very small country, occupying only as much space as one person occupies. Thus the country of . has some problems retaining a large population. Their problems have nothing to do with a poor economy or a lack of jobs, indeed there is no economy to worry about, it's just that only one person can ever actually be
in the country of . at one time, and while they could stand on top of each other, it would make things rather difficult. So the boarder (it's a circle so it only has one) of the country of . tends to move around quite a bit in an effort to make sure that all of its citizens spend at least
some time within the country. All citizens of . also automatically have dual citizenship with the larger country which they automatically entered (by default) when they were born, but since no one is quite sure where .'s boarder is at any given moment, keeping track of its population has become rather difficult. . sports the only circular flag and uses the tilde (~) to end sentences; its official language is unknown. . unfortunately does not know the identity of its founder and also has very little history which has proven difficult to record given .'s unique nature but most people figure it was started in ancient times by a Zen priest. .ans have been known to take great offense at being called "points". . has been involved in most major wars but has also been neutral at the same time; however, . has never instigated a war and has never won a war, but it has never lost either. . is particularly proud of its school system which excels in teaching geometry and all associated topics.
So it may be a rather long time before we see someone from . as it is uncertain whether Star Trek ever actually reached that country, or the internet for that matter. Additionally since . moves about so much these days some people may be citizens of . and not even know it.
