I saw this in the new topics list and thought it was a feature request for some sort of bizarre 24th century special weapon, involving lawyers. A new special for the Sovereign maybe?

Now for the kicker; what if you're Canadian?
The really funny part is, you just know that those were added after somebody noticed they weren't on the list and tried to make some money off of it.

Personally if in a contract (or TOCs) they are going to write the words "acts of God" then I think it needs something in there for the atheist and believers of other faiths along the lines of:
"... acts of God, Goddess, Gods, Goddesses, Mixed Pantheons, Flying Spaghetti Monster, Father Christmas, or other supernatural entity with the power to affect our business, or entirely natural events that may appear to a the work of a supernatural being to a superstitious person, ..."

Its a simple statement in most contracts like that that just mean you can't say"God destroyed my computer" I'm not sure if many people will say"The gods destroyed..." Unless we are in the BSG universe now.
I think the amount of people who would actually say that kind of thing(the multiple gods part) are so few now'a days that the lawyers just don't care to put it in.*
*please stop me if I'm wrong, I don't want to offend anyone.
And I'm sure there is some current Religion that deals with many gods.

There are a bunch of polytheistic religions, they just make up a rather small percentage of Americans (not sure about British statistics.) Hinduism is probably the biggest polytheistic religion in developed countries.
As for the thing about BSG, I actually have a friend who worships the Greek gods (BSG gods=greek gods, cause the writers were a bit lazy I guess.) She might actually use statements with plural gods.
About the "so few nowadays" thing, Christianity is actually losing ground in America percentage-wise. The overall number of Christians grows, but it doesn't grow as fast as other religions while the overall population grows. Polytheistic religions are gaining ground, so are Atheism and Islam (largest growth in Atheism.)
I myself am an Atheist, and am opposed to using religious language in a contract.
Here's a nice link to a an article about a study on the trends in American religion:
