Want to say something off topic? Something that has nothing to do with Trek? Post it here.

Besides, watching soccer is stupidly boring but playing it is extremely fun.

Amen to that!

come on dude add more to the topic than that -_-
and anyway, while everyone else is watching the games you can stare at the wall if you want :P
crunch matches coming up: Germany Vs Argentina & Brazil Vs France. these games could well decide the entire tournament. im backing brazil to go through against a rather poor France, but its too close to call between germany and argentina.

I could watch a movie and then watch the last 5 minutes.

I have been getting the feeling that the World Cup has become very popular here in the U.S. only recently this year. Any insights on that?

Its like comparing french and spanish, or italian and spanish, the reason they're all similar is cuz they all have Italian roots, and Germany Argentina is gonna be the best match in the world cup so far ;) Its most probably gonna go overtime

I think you mean that they all have LATIN roots. They all get their similar sound due to the direct basis off of latin prefixes and suffixes.

but their football is different and argentina are out!!

they were pretty unlucky, but anyway i had a feeling Germany were going to slip through while everone else concentrated on the "big guns". Germany always seem to do quite well in tournaments, even when they have been written off as having no chance by the critics, so well done to them.
BTW i hear that Argentina's coach has has immediatley signed his resignation after the match :omg: , i didn't think they did that badly :sweatdrop: .

aarrrggghhh  NO WAY was that a straight red card. Ronaldo should've been booked for trying to influence the ref's decision. That ref was a complete joke throughout the entire match :x . Plus why did Sven bring on carragher (a defender) with 3 mins of extra time left for Lennon, a player he brought on as a sub. He had a number of midfielders to choose from :hmmm: -_- .
now once again England are out due to their inability to take spot-kicks :hmmm:
