1) and thats be cuss people by PCs more than macs ether becus of price, networking, games but when it comes to eny thing that realy needs relibality are good looks you go with a mac and that magority just be cuss the magorty duss some thing duss not meen that some thing is beeter look the magority voted in Bush!!!

2)Windows fire wall are you tolking about that cheep imagtation of a soft war fier wall thay call servis pack 2?

3) vido cards are not negative I did not say the things I was listing was negative I said what PC has over mac.

4) pcs have update but unlike with macs up dates thare is a risk of crashing after for good updating.

5) Well as I sed up thare evin if you get rid of all spy and add ware you still can have root kits and mall ware wich are all most inposabule evin for a computer sines mager root kits can be put on virese to.

6) I said "indestry leding desine and interface" when ever mac has come out wiith some thing PC coppys it.

9) is more than that the os its self has to be abule to handal hier refesh rats or it will look jumpy. I have heard the egsact opasit. When you by a new PC the reresh rate is set very low untill you tern it up. I have a hard time looking at some PCs after looking at a mac.

10) macs run on 64 bits pc run on 32 dont beve me go rite click on your desk top got to propertys than settings that whare is says color quollaty you will see it duss not go above 32bits.

First off price is a factor for sure, PC's give as good or better performance for much cheaper. By networking, I take it that you mean servers? Which without we would have no interweb. I dont know about you, but I like to have a stable system when playing games. If you need good looks you can just get a new case or mod your case. Which brings me to the point that I dont have to pay $150 extra to get it in black. I never said that the majority always knows what is right. But what shields the mac from viruses/spyware/ect. is that they have such a small market share, no one cares enough to write viruses. Dude, politics belong in a POLITICAL THREAD!


Yes the windows firewall, wich does a decent job of protecting a computer. Also, beyond that you can always have a NAT, something everyone should have, and most probably do unknowingly. Or there are many great distro's of linux that have excelent built in firewalls, and having an even smaller market share than mac's are even less prone to spyware/viruses.


I have never had my PC crash randomly from properly installing a piece of new hardware. If you take care with your equipment it will be fine.


No way... rootkits can be put in viruses. Or they can be put on your mac by a sony music CD... I have no rootkits, viruses, trojans or spyware on my computer. Just from using comon sense. If you are ssaying that you do not have the comon sense to survive on the internet with a PC, than go have your mac.

Bah, High end processing like rendering is usualy done in a render farm or cluster anyway, reducing the need for massive ammounts of ram per system.

There is no refresh rate on a mac.... LCD monitors work in an entirely different way than CRT's... Thus making any PC with an LCD monitor also have no refresh rate. Refresh rates start low on a pc for compatibility reasons. You are always free to adjust them higher. Than get an lcd monitor for the PC you are using if you cant handle looking at it.


Windows XP 64-bit edition, is a fully fledged 64-bit OS. Not to mention all the many flavors of 64-bit linux that you can get as well.

talking about the windows firewall being bullshit it works fine ive ran both my computers without anti Virus for over 2years and ive had no problems

to be honest i cant see why anyone would want a peice of tech thats 2 years behind Pc's its like **** the only good thing about Mac's is that apple owns the rights to Logic and Final cut if it wasnt for those two peices of software no one would ever use them

Thats the reson I am now swiching from PCs to MACs.

Ive been using Windows Vista for like what 2months now and i find it to be absolutely bug free for me...

and what makes it even worse with you is that you have no basis to your argument go do some research on ******* vista and see its not the same operating system as 9x its a Nt based system which is completely different

and also one thing stop refering to windows as Pc's there are other operating systems that run on Pc's

do i have to mention the Distros of Linux that mac cant even touch with its precious Tiger ?

Your seriously stupid go do some research on Macs before you get all up there arse and start brown nosing them anymore seriously

Linux Distro's are a hell of alot better than macs

and remember Mac's have no where near the compatibility of windows machines so when it comes to the net and u wanna download something or a piece of software dont expect to be as easy as it is now for you

yes because a newspaper that is run by media moguls, is much more reliable in tech news than a website that is run by the people who review hardware and do this for a living. A dedicated tech site that does actual performance reviews of hardware has 10,000,000,000,000,000,000x the credibility of the washington post in computer related maters.
