You really should pick your fights...

The picture being a basic destroyer of some sort (something small and a bit naff) attacking a veteran Descent / Phalanx / Tavara (or some other ship with Defence >100).

Zap has made a couple screens over the time

I have totally come close to that. Maybe not three rows deep, but I have definitely put up a good row against the AI.
