Want to say something off topic? Something that has nothing to do with Trek? Post it here.

Yeah, I know: I felt kinda stupid doing that.. however I have great trouble trying to spell Russian names, and honestly since Classical covers many centuries... it's hard to narrow it down to a few (though who can forget Rite of Spring)

I agree--the differences are greater, so I bet I look kind of amateurish doing that: I just usually think people know their "pop" better than their classical music (I have trouble remembering names, that's for certain).

Mmm, could go for a bit of good Timpani at the moment  ^-^

Opening for Star Trek: The Next Generation.

:sweatdrop: I would've gone for Legend of Zelda, but I like Star Trek sooo much more.

If we are going that far i must say, that John Williams is the god of all orchestral film music ...aside korngold in the 1940s :D

That's cuz John Williams borrows from everyone. Two weeks ago my dad finally figured out where he got the Star Wars theme song from haha. Doesn't make him a bad composer, it makes him fantastic: buuuuut, it does mean that you have to understand it ain't exactly wholly unoriginal--just inspired  :whistling:
