Empty and Meaningless

If I was to take this serious and not as some elaborate prank, I'd say this is the most fearful person I've ever seen.

Nihilism, even this memetic, distorted version of it, is simply a self-protection mechanism against the everyday fears of life.
Claiming that nothing has meaning, and then only caring about what you can do for your own self is typical of human ego.
If nothing has meaning, then it's your job to create meaning that's bigger than just your own petty needs and wants.

The nomal mind crates meaning on it's own it's no job. Meaning is a interpitation of the wrold of the world. It's like looking thow a stain glass window and thing that the destostions form the window are real.

Why does there have to be meaning to life?  Why cant people just be satisfied with and celebrate their existence?  I try to.  Reality sometimes throws things my way which are difficult to deal with or understand but c'est la vie as the French say (or not... my French is pretty poor).

maybe EWM is just trying to defend his belief of the fact that you could die any second in any way. Which is true, but it gives us more of a reason to enjoy every living moment of our lives because you never know if you could have died just seconds ago by making a mistake you didn't make, or making a different course of action. You never know. So that is why you should enjoy what life you have. I get my joy out of gaming. Probably EWM thinks that down grading to the simple things is fun.

Saying that the universe is empty and meaningless as an absolute assumes that your perception is flawless whereas you are finite, like a god trapped in a human body, when in reality you are a human trapped in a human body.

To understand mortality you have to understand what person is, ie; what you would need, theotically, to save inorder to transfer a person into a new body at a minimum. Ultimately, it comes down to the sentient mind and the memory, if you gave someone just your memorys; they would not be you,they would just be someone else with your memorys, and if you replaced someones sentience with yours they would simply become a new person with the old persons memorys.

With this understood keep in mind the the sentient mind is the only true source of randomness above the quantum level, this gives it a mystical quality; we have no idea why it does what it does.

On the matter of the 'you could die from anything at anytime' jist, I can offer an alternative that may intrigue...type in quantum immortality on wikipedia.

I get more enjoyment from Empty and Meaningless when it come to living life then adding meaning suffering gone strange relations to interpretations I added trying to get some where and betting my self up for not making it.

Empty and Meaningless is much much more fun. There no pitfalls I have found in Empty and Meaningless in the way of loving life. Life's bean assume for me.

Damn, EWM, i don't believe i am agreeing with you, although maybe i am(!!!).

Well the other side of that is you could wait and wait for a magic creator to come down and give you that life you love or you can crate it by taking on this is it and I am going to make my life not wait and wait and wait till I die with regret and cynicism.

I think its plain stupid not to. Your crate you own destiny its now or now there no other time it could be.

Your view of life and the universe is flawed. And it's not just my opinion, it's a fact I tell you with this very post. For instance... do you consider - or better - do you know your life empty and meaningless? Well, if this is the case then why don't you end yor life instantly? The reason is quite simple: you don't believe what you say. Good so, because I ask you not to give so much into this movement you seem to be very eager to follow. You are a nice guy with lots of abilities and thought, future needs you, but not on this. Humankind has always been into philosophy and also into disciplinaries like this. They come and fade, sometimes they are harmless but sometimes they can become very dangerous and lead to dramatic endings.

I've read it in one post and I think this is quite right to say that this movement has nihilistic characteristics. If I imagine this to spread over the world ... dare you! This would turn into a place I wouldn't like to exist. If I didn't know better I'd say this was hell.

But to come to the point I would like to write about is the thing of you saying "there is noone like a 'magic creator' or anyone but just us rahrahrah...". May I ask you who told you that? Or is it an experience of yours? I was just curious about how self confident you declare us to be alone (which doesn't mean we are not if we want though). And yes.. I totally agree with you on empty and meaningless when there is no "magic creator". So proof it to us. Let's see if Nietsche's weed in the field has impact on the rain.

May I just point out that the absence of a "magic creator" does not mean that you can't still enjoy life. We seem to be dangerously drifting into "purpose" territory, which I would argue is a pointless debate. Our lives are far from empty and meaningless in relation to the interactions we make with eachother--who cares if they are meaningless (aka, purposeless) in the scope of the Universe: we live for our species. I think Ewm is trying to equate the two (correct me if I'm wrong Ewm), but I believe this is strange logic. Why does it matter if humans exist for some abstract "divine purpose" or not: we still live and breath and reproduce and create--and that is what human existence is currently about. Oh, I can't forget about eating. Afterall, food is gooooood.

The problom your having is your making Empty and Meaningless Mean some thing is adding meaning to some thing dose not chang what is so it just adds some thing that not real.

My mom just took this one and my relation ship with my mom had bean the beat I have ever had I dont argue I dont probloms with her short comeing or my we just can see eath other as we are and as we are not with out adding any thing.

People in life notes how powerfull I have become they coment on it freequntly. I have the adilaty with using this and other tools to be the leader of my seraundsing. I have had several offers to help people with startups biseness becuse they see how powerfull I am and I can help people see thow there limtations in life and help them reach ther dreams.

I am actually not weird I am more conformist then most, my behaver is predictable and reliable so people are nore likly to trust me then lest say some ones how dose not have Empty and Meaningless.

Theres no where to get this is it and after its gone its gone its come down to how do you wont to be when one uses Empty and Meaningless not how to deal with how you think you are.

Hmmm, maybe some of us are too stuck in our Vulcan (read: logical) to grasp what you are trying to say. But how does this affect the rest of us? Next you might be saying nothing has any meaning so it doesn't matter if I kill anyone I don't like.

Well I can say sents I took on Empty and Meaningless  with other distions and training my life has bean less robotic witch is what I think of when I think of a Vulcan  I can realte to people better and be there for people when others would walk away and ceate new options.

Well killing hearts people unless you are asosopath I dont see you doing that. People when the berden of servival is lifted they most offen wont to help others.

I bean in this technolagy for allmost 2 year and what I have seen come out of it is so for of the realm of what we accespt you probbly would not bleave what I would say. People how docters how told them they have 2-3 years to live from haribal ilness beet the ods and becomes better, like one I hear of with lunk canser last night how lungs where shot acctionly started to heal. When People resists whats going on or suffer becose of interpitations litterly kill them selvaes.

For me this has terned my life around and gotten a relation ship with people in my famaily I never thought I could and it takes me wark to look ack at how I was befor this technolagy.
