Universal Translator Please? And maybe something else too?

Post here comments, questions about the board or the site. Found bugs? What you like, what you don't like.

Question: What I need is a universal translator, is there someway we can intergrate that? You know, if someone is a spanish or german poster that it would be auto-translated?

The problem I have most with learning languages is the grammar....its very tough when one has spoken one language for 20 plus years and then has to kinda break the rules of garmmar inside their head to learn a new one.....especially when sentence structures for the new language you are learning seem backwards to the person learning.

Not so sure a built in translator would be such a good idea. First off, we can of course plug our horrible phrases into one of the available "translators" and hope for the best--or we can ask someone on the forum to help. Having an auto translator might actually be bad if there were no way to turn it off  :sweatdrop:

I'll see what Doca says :D

i have seen such translators on a small number of sites and they have gotten a lot better in the last few years. as my native language is german some of these even automatically turn translation on when they detect my browser language. but still, you sometimes don't understand shit if you don't know what the authors have originally meant in english. so no, such a feature won't be integrated to this site. if someone has to rely on a translator, there are several tools out there that do just that.
