Hehe... I had problems but I thought it was my browser... or maybe too many people logged in simutaniously. I wish there would be some big thing that could happen that would bring back some more users of this site... like a large Fleet Ops Anniversary patch that would bring progression to...

Just wondering why the site was down yesterday/this morning?

that is not quite sure yet. an issue with the database server required it to be restarted (too many connections were made and not closed for an unknown reason). remoter is keeping an eye on the situation now.

I was at a friends place trying to show him the fleetops site, but shortly after attempting this and getting the "site temporaraly unavailable" message, his computer started having problems and he found a virus with AVG.  Could just be coincidence, but I figured I should let you guys know.

... Okay, I am probably gonna sound stupid...

How do you do a hyperlink to where instead of saying the url it says somethin like "Download link" or "Click here for Wiki" or somethin like that? Because sometimes the url gets real looooooooonnnnngg.
