it would be best if the software could be tested by ppl who have problems with wippien.

It is very unfortunate :( it seems like the FO community is continually moving from one service to another. It seems we are relunctant nomads (like the Talaxians at the end of Voyager). :(

Crud, yes, would be nice if some people could test these VPN's. I'll try to look into them soon and see what they offer - but not sure if I'm technically qualified  :sweatdrop: . I wonder if all these systems just simply have problems with certain people :(

I know some people who use Cisco.  Not sure how good it is for gaming, but it seemed interesting.  Thanks Tom for bringing these options up.  I tried searching for other ones, but as you know, I'm not as savvy with these programs.  To me they're just people linker things. ;)

How about Gamer's Internet Tunnel? It's still in beta but looks promising.

We would still need a chat room though and it's hard to set up.

Finally I've been looking around, and social VPN looks pretty damn good. Easy to install and set up, if you follow the instructions. UI and friends list is in your browser and it has VOIP.

EDIT: And you can use existing Jabber accounts.

To add me, load up the UI in your browser once you have started it and go to http://127.0.0.1:58888/ and click add friends. Copy and paste this whole line:

Any problems come to me :)

P.S. How to I install the Program to add everyone to my Wippien? I can't make heads or tails of the install instructions.

I think he was asking about Tom's automatic program (I'll make sure to add instructions on Wippien though  :sweatdrop: ), but if you have questions that aren't already answered by the instructions in red on the first post first page of this thread, send Tom a PM :)

"To work the program it's pretty straightforward; one line per contact . The contact list is located in the install directory under 'contacts.txt' (you must manually add all current contacts into the .txt file of course).  the app needs .net framework to run.
usage: install -> run wippien -> run this app."

Let me know if any of that helps, and if not, try and get in contact with Tom :)

Glad to see you joined us on Wippien, and hope to see you on soon
