so there could be a huge amount of players ^^
and you also have in the bottom left the browser button so you mustn't go to community->network->browser

Thanks! As you know, I'm brand new to the program and so have just begun looking around. If there is anything else that I've left out or is wrong just post it here or let me know :)

What do you mean that the IM feature doesn't work? I've used it a few times each day and it works just fine - just takes a little while to connect :)

This may just be caused by your net/computer - is the lag only in larger games - or 1v1 as well?

Just had a rather epic game. Worked fine, though like Arash said, it lagged a bit at the start  :whistling:

ok, I see. it just comes up with a warning that the translation is broken, thats all.

BTW, I think we should set up a wippen like list of what peoples screen names are, cus I only recognize a couple of names on there.

crap guys.  tungle is interfering with the IP's on my other computers

the other computers on my network that is.  they are all having IP conflictions.

well tunngel really gives me a lot of trouble installing the network adapter, just can make it work properly - only see half of the people in the lobby  :ermm:
will try installing it on Vista (still using XP), see if that works better

I'm installing on win 7, so I doubt it will be any better. :(  it gave me a huge hassle installing, windows alerts poping up everywhere.  Then my other computers starting having IP problems.  It seemed that Tungle was re-assigning the IPs, and did it so that all my computers on my network had the same IP, causing confliction when more than one was on the internet.

Ahahahahah This is why I steer clear of beta software often times as there can be some pain in the ass bugs. Perhaps tungle has a preference screen or configuration utility where u can disable that messed up sort of dhcp.

The youtube video in this thread (YouTube
- [How To] Setup, Install, and Use the International Version of Tunngle
) talks about multiple machines in a network needing to configure tunngle so that they don't conflict (by changing the tunngle port)... did you try that?

Directions for the win!

One problem I have noticed, and if anybody else has input, I'd appreciate hearing it : sometimes you cannot see certain people (either their chat, or ID's - except on IM) on the network until you log into the specific network repeatedly.  :sweatdrop:

Sorry, but I'm not able to mess with the other computers on my network.  not their settings anyway, lol.  They arn't really my computers.  I had to quit before a game ended because the other people on the network starting having problems.  I think i will just stick with GS for now.

And yes Mal, I'm sure you would consider this elitist, but you know as well as I do that being a little elitist has its advantages.  :shifty:

I tell you what man, if I had realized how awesome it is to be elitist, I would have done it ages ago! :woot:

Sucks that it doesn't work for you. :(  Perhaps the others in your network can use their anti-virus to block it?  I'm really surprised that it affects other people.  Maybe there's a setting on the router itself that you can change?  I know you can change ports and stuff with tunngle.  I don't know, I'm not as hip on networks and stuff.  I'm just glad I can find the On button on my PC.

Well, I'm on Win 7, 32 bit, UAC off and had no problems installing the application or running it.
