That, and my comp is dead from an HDD crash. Nothing serious, but it needed to be sent to the shop.

Gonna be waiting a long time for that patch.

Iv started playing star trek online so until a new patch comes i no longer need fleet ops as my daily star trek fix anymore.

I was actually surprised at how fun STO is. I still wouldn't pay money for it but its worth the waste of time in my book.

This patch is just too broken to be worth playing anymore...many ppl know all the powerstrats and abuse them as much as possible...

Yep agree, the laheaval spammers have crossed the line in my book had enough. Really wish the devs would just re-set the a20s over powered ram special so we can counter the lehevals and laugh at them.

i'm im the middle of upgrading my computer and don't have fleetops installed

upgrades will be worth it though. currently being slowed by new semester and the consequent crapton of work to do.

I'd get more involved except usually by the time I'm able to log into Tunngle I'm too tired to properly concentrate on a game. Poor excuse, I know; I'll try and get on this week.

Quite funny, cause Romulan players always bitch about their race being too underpowered, especially against Borg players.

Seriously people, make up your mind, or finally choose the race you can counter such spam the easiest way - yes, it is that simple. Just learn a second or third race, and when to choose it, then you'll be able to beat those easy spam strats pretty much all the time.

And in multiplayer games it's usually even way simpler to beat single unit spam - after all it's a team game, so the goal is to win as a team, cause without your teammates you won't be able to - there's no i in team, except you would spell team like tiem, which is kinda silly!

@Beef & topic: (after-) noon (european time) is usually not very crowded. Try it a bit later, or especially on the weekends. Currently (midnight) are 14 people on TS3, and 9 of them playing FOPS

Not true the borg player are only over powered if they start with the scube and probe rush which is extremely difficult to counter especially on dual 2.


lahevals have no weakness so its very difficult to counter them, they counter everything the feds throw at them early game even akiras and warps, and they can raid anyone else to death very quickly they have a very powerful special and they can regenerate faster than a sphere then cloak out in 2 seconds.

A fleet of these is like have a fleet of prime regen spheres with multi beam mods and really fast speed and a 2 second cloak.
