Hahah well you're right on the "some" issue, Tom :D.

Some people make a few of the other units as decoration or "icing on the cake" and then proceed to do everything with the OP units.  A kvort fleet with 3 sad little B'rels ain't a mixed fleet.

With Rommies it's harder because overall the race is so pinched for resources and the Leahval/Frigates are such a good deal that it's hard NOT to spam them just to even things out.

But there are great examples of how Rommies can progress out there in the replays :).

Yeah, you're right about it being blurry.  But like Boggz has said, most people seem to understand what "only spamming Kvorts" means and use good judgement.  The only thing I can say is I'm sure the devs will iron out the issues and those units won't be so overpowering in the next patch. :D

You're correct.  It is not a replay system.  Though I feel that it fulfills a more than adequate proxy role given what it is you wanted to get from it.  Yandonman keeps his eyes all over the field.  If someone is basically spamming, we'll know.  It's not the end of the world anyway ...

Yes it is, Boggz! >:(  It means they're defying "The Rules" and must be flogged!  Whipped in the streets naked and then dragged behind horses!  And then we hang them at noon! :dead:  Assholes!

To be honest, all these stupid rules are stupid, the game was released, play it however you like, if who your playing doesnt like it, tough luck, kick them.

Honestly with the balance formulas i doubt that one race totally rules are, and can send one scout out to destroy a whole armada, we dont need these rules, we possibly need a definition for unambiguous, but we dont need any "rules" that arnt in the game, just made by the communtiy.

The game is realeased play it how you like.

Also boggz, i may have misunderstood you, but i got the sense that you as well dont like this rules, which i find is totally ironic, and kinda funny, seeing as i have seen you on a number of ocassions go on about "dont use mayson hes too powerful, oh mayson could take a pebble and kill all of my armadas ships, oh no!!!"

okay maybye not the pebble part but the rest is true.

All im saying guys, is i know some of you who posted were doing the whole rules things, thats okay, and im not trying to single you out boggz, there were many others.

but it was pretty much completely boggz who was doing it, just kidding :D

yeahn thatso itt

Well Ray .... it's hard to argue with you ... mainly because you never really put out a concrete opinion :D.

But here you have:  at your own risk .

Alls I have to say is: if you don't want to play with rules - don't.  If you want to play Mayson, by all means.  If you want to play Taq'roja and spam Kvorts, then spam till your heart's content.

I just won't play with you :D.  I'm guessing that a lot of other people won't either ^-^.

I  so much that I have to  :x.

No, Ray, you were mistaken.  I am all about community rules when even the Devs agree that something is imbalanced.  I must be a Nazi (-- Insert Nazi Emoticon Here --) Or a Sorceror!!!!!  :sorcerer:

#1 wtf is sig

#2 my opinion is that the community rules should not be needed, okay yeah, spamming may have an exception, if you only build kvorts the whole game,

but i remeber when i was playing a few weeks ago (i havent been on in a while) it was all, no mayson, no playing well, no playing feddies, no beating the enemy, you get my drift

and i dont like the rules, because for one, alot of it comes by, by people who just got there ass handed to them by somone, who happend to be playing borg,

all of a sudden no borg, no this not that,

i think, if there are true balance problems, that a quick patch should be realeased, however, these need to be recognised as true
