Thumbsdown, because it only takes one or two minutes to get coffee. This kind of thing didn't interrupt any game I played so far and didn't delay gamestarts more than other players gathering all up.
You cannot accuse people of wasting your time when it's truly about a few harmless minutes with an afk-message in lobby-chat.

Hehehehe, its not just a few minutes, that's where the problem actually sits, people going to China to get Coffee!

Not me, not everyone and probably not even many players of the FO-community. I remember waiting countless minutes for a game to start as well, but it was only a few times out of 100 and thus not quite worth mentioning.
Don't get me wrong - I agree it's impolite to keep people waiting longer than necessary, but being paranoid about phrases that include 'getting' and 'coffee' is a rather ineffective way of dealing with it.
I didn't play FO for quite a while so things might have changed a bit, however I can't imagine a vast majority of players behaving this way as most players want to play.

I dont play online at all (Crapppy internet connection) but I agree it is some what incosiderate to start a game and then dissappear . A thought though... Is any way to enable a timer feature? Say after 120 seconds of no imput from the persons keyboard or mouse they automaticallly get a warning message and if no reply after additional 20 seconds then they get Auto booted from the game. If they say their freinds will be on the game gives a 120 second counter till the game is locked. Once the time has expired the game auto starts. If any player is not there playing then the 120 second rule is applyied, after that they get a message from FO warning them of the infraction.Three in a month gets you suspended. Just a thought

Well like another user suggested, one way is to set a stopwatch and when the time is up there is always that trusty old kick button!
