"No Image Yet" featured in Red.

A well hand-crafted dev placeholder image indeed. :)

Very "Ceci n'est pas une pipe" like. Well, sort of.

I personally would LOVE to see warp-ins gone...  :sweatdrop:

Every new release of FleetOps I spend some time making the warp-ins buildable and removing the limit... it would save me some time.  :whistling:

It's the only think I don't like about FleetOps!

I think the new Monsoon weapon should be saucer separation, where the engine is simply abandoned: the ship's speed is reduced to one half and its remaining shield strength is doubled, the effect lasts until it enters a yard.  On second thought, make it the veteran ability.

Then it truly would be an anti-Ray, anti-Myles weapon

Honestly I feel like saucer-seperation could be implemented now with an actual purpose....

With the synergies, the galaxy could when separated, could decrease the hit chance from large vessels (im thinking of the distraction anti-matter explosion stuff from all good things) but could take more damage from small ships..... or something like that

There has been a great separation since my last saucer sep post.

Personally, I've always felt that saucer separation should be the sole providence of the Venture-class.  :whistling:

Well to be honest 3.2.5 has grown stale. After awhile however most games do. You play too many rounds and you start being able to predict outcomes before you start them. This new profile system should dramatically change that at a minimum. I will look forward to it. Ship targeting priorities always seemed a little off to me, which will bring back a few old staples that nobody could use due to the whole targeting priorities hosing them. Aka the C11 at least.

It is astonishing to see the breadth of effort that the dev team puts in and I wish them the best.

Yeah. I was getting tired of it too. So then I looked up the command cheats, and used the map editor to create some havoc, downloaded the Armada Classic so I could play around with Art of War, played Sigma for a while - all to keep myself interested. But now I haven't played Flops for a while. I keep checking back, though, because I wanted so badly to see the release of the new patch, or at least some news. And now we have it, and I can't wait to play it and wear it down as well. ^-^

I'm most looking forward, however, to the new units. Speaking just from the Federation, there are literally hundreds of ship designs, both canon and fan-made, that represent the TNG era, and, like so many of the ships, could be added. And, with more units being added, it looks like that's becoming a reality. I have no doubt that the Okinawa and New Orleans are gonna make their debut this next patch, and possibly the Prometheus as well, if the Galaxy is removed but Saucer Sep gameplay feature stays.
