For those who experience slow-downs when borg ships explode: try Windows XP. I have a dual boot installation only because the FO runs much better on XP.

The most underwhelming fire-fight between vetships (vetship: veteran ship.) is Veteran Rheinn Disruptor Refit vs. Veteran Monsoon. Type XV Phasers combined with Sixth-Generation Shields along with a (hopefully) upgraded Prox. Torp means that th e Rheinn will die!!

i disagree. some race is doomed to have the strongest tier 1 ship. it so happens that it's roms with rhienn nowdays. rheinn spam can be annoying but every race has at least 1 counter to it:
b'rel spam > rhienn spam
scube with transwarp > rhienn spam
plasma coil > rheinn spam
i dont really play the dom but i guess breen cruiser/bomber > rheinn spam
imho it's so natural to spam such a ship like rhienn that the best way to get rid of this is not by nerfing the ship but by learning some BO & strat that counters it easily

I cannot refuse! The Saber cannot be spammed efficiently...ok We will not go into that here though.

No, bombers and S-2's cannot be spammed against Rhienns. S-2's cost too much and are short range torp ships. Bombers miss too much against the small Rhienn and have too little defense. It's bugs or nothing man

s-2? breen cruiser is not s-2. as i said i don't play the dom so i really don't know what should be used. i was hoping that "i dont really play the dom but i guess" was enough not to bash me but Dominus_Noctis is always on guard when i'm trying to say somethig i'm not sure is more or less correct.

I still think that since once of the recent patches, the Breen have been overly nerfed so that the cruiser is perhaps too expensive (though as I don't use the Breen avatar too much, it is hard for me to say). The other problem with the cruiser is that although it has good firepower... it is only in the forward direction. If you can't defeat your enemy, you can't retreat to save your forces (unless using cloak, which is usually suicide against a Romie player anyways due to the Talon). I'm always on guard against anybody saying anything inacurate, including myself (note first sentence), but I wasn't bashing you at all (and I certainly am not singling you out) .
