New site

I didn't notice any change in my forum name since I had the same name for both.

Slick site. Clean lines. Smooth edges. Easy on the eyes. Like the Ferrari I saw yesterday.

@Myles ~ what happened to the cat? and what is in that picture?

Very slick look! I take it TinyPortal and SMF outlived their usefulness?

The main thing I'm missing at the moment is a "find unread posts" function, as the colour scheme is making it hard for me to differentiate threads with unread posts.

It got squished in the new forum, I'd forgotten about it anyway, figured it was time for a little change. the old one only stayed so long because someone said it looked like my cat was doing an explosive fart (it was actually the pattern on the rug). it was only supposed to be a temporary avatar, but explosive farts are awesome, so i kept it.

New avatar is fluttershy, is it hard to see? might need to get a better image.

avatar changed, 48KiB limit means I couldn't have animated avatar, old image was probably too detailed for 90x90.

yes, we might need to improve visibility for unread subforums/threads

I found the "View Unread Posts" menu item in the end. I saw someone else refer to it, and started looking for it. I didn't spot the forum had logged me out, which confused me for a couple of minutes until I realised that. Once I'd logged back in I was able to find it in short order.

Having said that, the new look is very good and you can be rightly proud of your work.

Yeah, seems like lots are having similar issues. Password and profile pics.

I'm not sure if mine has ever been clearly visible. I drew it on Facebook real quick on one of the sketch apps? I can't even remember what its called, but I don't use it anymore.

It's a kneeling angel like/winged man figure, with wings of fire. The one wing sort of spills out to the spot where he is resting, with a bowed head. Arms are sort of resting/hanging.

Due to a really screwed up view, not sure how well it ever transferred onto the site.

It seems like most have a working pic going though, maybe lots of people changed theirs?

Password as was mentioned before is easy enough to overcome.

Interesting with point about using the site on cell. I've only ever accessed it through computer. But I like how it lights up in blue when you scroll over things.

Just takes some getting use to I suppose.

You can easily change your avatar picture in Paint. Resize --> Pixel --> 90x90 should solve it. Then reupload.

Ah News OK guys this is just a magnificent website. I really love the clean design and all the half transperent layers which still have visible structures. Congrats!
