Gotta agree with Myles, there would be no reason to downgrade the sensor-neb, so It's likely a crappier predecessor. (Let's face it, how would removing a weapon for no reason be considered an upgrade???)
Wait-  Does it get the pulse back through promotion?  If not, why?!

Just out of curiosity, I noticed that the camera shake effect during explosions has been removed in this version. Any reason why? I thought it was pretty cool. (I didn't see a reason in the change log so pardon me if there is an answer in there, must have missed it).

Welcome to the Forums!

The reason is because it wasn't a popular feature, and the devs said it wasn't how they wanted it.  I personally found it annoying but if enough people want it back in the devs might change their mind. :sweatdrop:

If I were you I would make a poll.

Yeah, the rumble is cool , but sucks when trying to play against someone. :(

Thanks for the warm welcome Zaxxon. I find myself agreeing with Arash, if its reintegrated it'd be cool to have an option to turn it off (so as not to slow down MP). Thanks for clearing it up.

Few mods have impressed me the way Fleet Ops has. When I discovered it a few months back I actually got torn out Bridge Commander (my native modding community) for a while, but I find myself playing this about as often as I do BC. My thanks to the developers for producing one awesome piece of work.

welcome to the forums, nero :) we liked the rumble effect too, however it can be annoying in some situations for example when trying to place a station or selecting a vessel. we want to bring the rumble feature back at some point when we have figured out a way around these annoyances. btw. it is still in effect for the real big stuff, it has only been disabled for the many smaller explosions.

I love the new mass seaking missles they just seems so Klingon. So rather than train their officers to find cloaked ships. They design a missle that finds them for them, after all your science officer can't be wasting time trying to find so pesky little coaked ship he needs to be finding your next target because you just wasted your last enemy.

They must have liked Spock's solution for detecting cloak in Star Trek VI. ^-^

Why was the Federation Starbase made crooked? Also, I don't see it in the changelog. It was intentional right?

It was intentional, to show off the outpost's good side.  I will admit that it does look a little out of place that way.
