Ok, i "acquired" another copy of Armada2 (as mine is at my cousin...) to be able to reinstall FleetOps and everything works fine now!
Maybe the devpatch modified something in 3.0.0. of what the 3.0.1. patcher wasn't prepared for.
Great work guys, thx again!

i can't imagine it was anything related to the dev patch, but also have no idea what else it could have been. maybe some lock on the cd drive from another program or something. whatever it was, from the crash report nothing that we ever have fiddled with, so it's nice you've got it working now. i feared that it was some kind of severe bug with xp or something, as i am developing under vista since two month or so and haven't tested the patch with xp.

When are you guys go start a biz already...

You guys have skill.

I was looking at Ipod games witch are simple and go for .99c to 10. USD If you make a decent one you defiantly could get some capitol flowing. lets say you got 150 downloads a day for 3. that would be 450. USD witch is 323.2 EUs a week.

Fo for ipod,, hint hint.

wow chears. if you guys keep up with patches like this I would think you guys worked for a paid mmo (but you arnt :D) but I like the changes to the borg and I hope they are better now.

EDIT: ewm90 why for the Ipod, Zune is SOOO much better  :P
one other thing, the patch did not auto detect where I installed fleetops3 and the multimedia addon did, so its ok but I can see some people getting confused when before it found it and now that patch does not :P

Today, a while before I downloaded this, I ran a match of FO where I was an observer. All the races were borg, so, as you can see, I wanted to know how the AI would react to other Borgs, and I thought it would be fun to watch. WRONG! Took 3 hours for the AI to build Spheres, and another 4 for Pyramids, and NOBODY WAS MINING! So, I started to mess around with keyboard combos, and found the Map Edit on/off "switch", so to speak, and had a good time playing Q and throwing random numbers into a perfect equation. I downloaded this patch, and I intend to watch another CPU battle tomorrow.  Top job, Fleetops crew!

Already! Wow I just hope that this one patch is all that is needed and so you awesome FleetOps dream team can get some rest then talk about Version 4. I can't wait for both the Noxter's return and the Iconians introduction.

Downloading the patch as I type this, hope to play on the Sunday. Got work on Friday and Saturday.

Take care FleetOps team and remember your legends!

Amazing work and wait to see whets next for FO.

But the zoned is not apple so there it all ready had one strike down, Its micros soft thats a another strike down... I love my ipod and am thing of upgrading to the Iphone. People keep trying to emulate the ipod/iphone and all ways come up short aka, instinct and black brayed storm.

I just watched a CPU battle of Borgs today, and MAN! Within the first 20 minutes, There were Cubes! Also, everyone was mining! Top job, Fleetops Team!  :D

Also, the trigger for Mapedit mode is Ctrl-R. I'm sorry if this sounds like bragging, though.
