Is there any news regarding your progress on 3.08? Me is soooo excited... so much nice artwork and screenshots, but nothing to play for me :(

Great. Really. Already had this one. So where exactly do you see, WHEN I will be able to play a 3.08 game?

I read your latest post and i have to disagree with you here: the excelsior II is quite nice the way it is! While i would have preferred the more modern nacelle design, i think the textures and the saucer and everything was quite well pulled off.

Well would have posted this on the comments of the blog page but I kept getting an error:

Best Galaxy Ive seen for Armada, hands down. Do have one critique though: the phaser strips are on the front of the nacelle bumps.

I've been having a major problem with spam, so I've taken down commenting for a bit.  I've seen the phaser strips on the front and the back of the nacell bumps for the Venture.  I was going by what I saw was the most common.

Oh no problem with the comments. Totally understand.

Can i ask what youre using as reference. this is a shot of uss venture in DS9: Way of the warrior:

if you look at the nacelle bump closest to you it appears theres another slight bump on top to the front of the bump (the shadows show it) the strip appears to be at the front of the bump.  :D

The AGT Galaxy class with the three nacelles had the strips to the back of the bumps, since there are more reference shots of that particular ship its easy to assume that the venture is an earlier version of those same improvements.

Dont get me wrong you have created a master piece and Im absolutely in awe of your skills. Im just hoping to help out with this tiny detail correction. if you check out ex astris scientia, got to the starship database and in the galaxy class section it is written about the differences between enterprise-d, venture, and the AGT enterprise-d. I trust this site to be the most accurate.

Cool.  Thanks for the screenshots.  I couldn't find any good shots from above of the Venture online, so I had just googled it and found something that seemed okay.  It had the phaser strips on the back of the bumps.

btw, commenting is back up on my blog

You're welcome. I'm happy to help out, even if it's only to be a limited technical advisor.

Both Nebula's included in the next patch according to the blog? Sounds awesome. Optec, any hint at the gameplay differences or is it just cosmetic? Or are you only using one and the other as a mapobject?

I'm guessing that the regular nebula will lose the sensor mode for more weapons or something while the sensor pod will have very low weapons power but long sensor range and maybe cloak detection.
