I think if you hold down Control when you order them to the point, they'll all go at the same speed. However, if you're using multiple fleets then each fleet will only go as fast as the slowest ship in it, not the slowest ship from the whole group...if that makes sense.

thx for your answer, but what you just mentioned is exactly, what my fleets don't do:(... every ship flies in it's own speed. The AI seems to have the same problem, their ships don't fly in fleets, but every ship in its own speed... I just have to order my ships to a special point and wait, until their ships fly forward, so, that I can kill every single ship of them, without a real fight:(...

Make the faster ships guard the slowest ship in your fleet, and then send the slowest ship into the enemy base, and once there tell the rest of the fleet to attack the target that your slow ship is targeting.

yes, but should'nt the tempo of the ships be approximated, when they fly as a fleet,as it has been in original armada 2?

Do you mean the fleet move at the same speed? That never happened for mean, even in stock the slower ships got left behind all the time.

That's something that the FO team should worry about doing, not us. For now, just be happy with what you have, unless you believe that something should be added. Don't tell them what they're already doing, as this glitch that we're discussing is most likely under repair.

hopefully as many as it takes to complete the V3 version 100% - maybe even with noxter and cardassian mercinaries

Are you sure you did it correct? Hold down the ctrl key and order your ships to any point on the map - it should work. I just tested it and for me it works perfectly.

a new version will include a complete new set of code - from the ground up.
a patch merely adds on or removes certain file addons such as dlls, odfs etc. while retaining the original core code.

Guess I'll have to add a second one in all over again.
