I tried to port over special weapons from Armada 2 with mixed results, so I scrapped that idea.

I'm gonna be looking to release the mod next month, I want to do at least 3-4 weeks of beta testing. I don't want there to be any errors when I finally release it, as it will probably be the last time I release anything.

Any thoughts about making Ds9 the starter base for the Sisko Avatar??

Keep the fed start base as is now.

Federation:
Sisko - builds ds9, no starfleethq.
Picard - builds fleethq, no ds9.

Alpha quarter alliance - start change to ds9.
Dominion alliance - start change to monak base, cannot build terok nor.

Cardassian:
Damar - builds monak, no terok nor.
Dukat - builds terok nor, no monak.

Dominion:
Remove all superbase.

That's how I would change for more diversity.

I actually really really agree with this; kind of would make the mod feel like it goes slightly along with Established Star Trek Canon as seen in Star Trek Deep Space Nine.

Yeah I kind of understand, but I won't be making these changes. Monak Base is not a damar base. Ds9 is the only station from the series that sisko actually commanded.

*** Update***

As it stands right now I'm in the final stretch.

I'm just waiting for a new avatar for the Dominion and a selectall for the breen.

In the meantime I'm going to be re-doing some bb and wireframes to polish up the mod a little.
I'm also going to be taking out mixtech stuff. It really does not go together with my mod anyways, and to go through all of it and correct some things is too time consuming for me at this point.


I'm guessing that the mod should be ready by the end of the month. I am going to be testing the game for a few weeks to make sure everything is working fine.

Also I'll be posting some pictures of new features that I've added in the past week.

Ds9 with proprer tooltip.

I will be doing this for every new ship and station I had put in the game.

For the Alpha Alliance I agree with yochenhsieh for DS9 becoming the starting station as it is a trading station. :thumbsup: I understand your reasoning about Sisko but DS9 was used as Alliance Command during the Dominion War, so it makes sense that it becomes Alpha Alliance HQ. And make the Trading Station the supplies mining station. :thumbsup:

And why do repairing ships fly through the stations (the larger outposts) instead of the docking areas?

Would it be possible to have the largest cubes reduced in size as gameplay gets a little unrealistic when they travel through wormholes and become untargetable when above the battlefield. ;) I tend to place the larger stations around the wormholes to bottleneck any invasions but the cubes are just so huge they disappear when there is no room for them to exit the wormhole. :D Is the sizing command still scaleSOD = whatever?

Could the huge cubes be sized to the same as the Tactical cubes?

Otherwise the mod is awesome.

I'm gonna keep everything as is. I like the station for the alpha alliance.

I have no idea why the repair ships do what they do. I've never seen them do that.

I like the scaling to be realistic, so the cubes need to be big, I know it can be a little impratical, but they are bigger than tactical cubes.

Not repair ships, repairing ships. Meaning ships that you send to be repaired.

They flying through the stations, check it out on your own game using the larger stations. LOL

Why can't you copy an avatar and create your own picard456?

I also agree with Alpha Alliance station being replaced by DS9, as it was a forward base operations in Deep Space 9 during Dominion wars.
