@086F i am completely aware of all the details that have been made public don't insult me by making me seem ingnorant. i simply posting my distain for the way Zax was ripped on FF. you simply just want an oppurtunity to rip someone too it seems.

Ok you may know the details now but did you already know them...like years ago? Have you been cruising the BC-Central forum for the last few years(about every other day)? Same for Excal Forum? Did you already know that LC made that specific Excalibur model back in 2004? Did you already know about his usage policy?

If yes to no less then three of those questions then alrighty then I apologize.

But if no to those question then...well...there you go you learned something lol.

i simply posting my distain for the way Zax was ripped on FF.

Its an innocent mistake but, still don't always assume your getting something from the original source. For example a large amount of whats been submitted for the canon 1701-F contest for STO has been ripped from the original source and then some with many people claiming the exact same unedited design as thier own(Aventine class Vesta is a good example).research ftw. Plus its right in the readme that it came from LC specifically.

I may not post alot, upload anything, or play online but I check the forums and the news going around so to answer your questions: Yes i cruise BC-C, but not every other day (that's alittle too much for me); No for Excal never been there; Yes I downloaded it because it could kill 4 borg cubes by itself; Yes i know his usage policy and all i can say is if every modeler out there had that same policy modding this game would be dead!  So apology accepted unless me not cruise BC-C enough is reason to take it back.

Since i have never created a model I can't possibly understand what LC went through when his was stolen but if I were in his place I definetly wouldn't have made Zax take down his version for the oversight which was completely understandable. And i certainly wouldn't make Starbase 34 edit the ship out of their mod, yes there has been talk of that too!

This is somewhat insulting to me as well, because it seems you don't have all the facts.  I was of course, aware of LC's position before I made the mod, and I am not one for going behind peoples backs.  Its not as if I didn't do research, and even if I had done more than I did, I wouldn't have known any more from the information I received.  My mod originally included that same model you posted in that link, however I found I would have trouble getting permission, and knew that LC wouldn't allow it.  That is why I asked Yacuzza about his model, and he told me it was free to use as long as the original author was credited, and author he gave me was incorrect. 

To be blunt, please don't make comments like that when you don't have all the facts.  It's hypocritical and to be honest, its none of your business to be arguing about somebody else's mod like this.  It's nothing more than gossip.    

I would like to request that this thread be locked.
