I have played it, but not for very long.  either way, I just don't like the ship.  I don't know if people don't download it because they share my opinion, but it could also be that 3.1.1 is fairly new, and people just arn't modding it yet.

Yes Tyler, we all know you are a hard core modder, and have (by far) more mods for FO than anyone else.

But do you have a Soon to release BSG mod?  or Sigma Mod? or Total conversion for a total conversion()

Actually that was a serious question.  Do you?

Note:  all ment just to poke fun.  not to be mean, so sorry if it sounded like that  :innocent:

No mods for those, I'm afraid. Computer problems, and all that.

A total conversion for a total conversion? Yeah, it's called FO Beta.

Actually I was referring to Blades A3 mod :sweatdrop:

I personally like the Galaxy-X as well. I kinda see it as a way to have saved the Galaxy from becoming useless at that point in time. Canon-wise, the Sovereign should have been out and about for a while at that point, so it would've made the Galaxies look old and dusty in comparison  :crybaby: Besides, what better way to keep a ship alive than give it a major overhaul?

Then again, I might like the Galaxy-X just because it satisfies my need to say, "SEE!? Dreadnought Galaxy is canon, FTW, and it's the Enterprise-D!!!"  Seriously though, the Gal-X is a design I felt both captured the beauty the original had and gave it the super pawnage firepower that made it more than just a force to be reckoned with

I always thought it looked dumb.

They said it's not gonna be in.  It's an alternate timeline vessel on top of that.  Boom.

the only thing that really bugged me about the G-X was how poorly they did blending the refit parts onto the ship  the pylon that held the 3rd nacelle was not blended into the rest of the hull well at all  and the spikes and stuff on top of the saucer were just out of place.  If the 3rd nacelle and the other parts had been blended in better i think a lot more people would accept it.

I agree with Nekura, it's not a pleasant ship in it's orgininal state. Maybe you could create a totally different Galaxy, that still has 3 nacelles.

I have to agree with Boggz.  The cool factor wasn't the overall look, but the fact that the ship had a cloak and a bad ass lazer beam that poked holes in starships with one shot. B)

poking holes in starships is always a win

Why not 4? Everyone is so crazy about pairs that maybe 4 would be a friendly number to them.

I don't have the 4-nacelled Galaxy varient for A2, only BC. I can't convert from 1 game to another, too.

I happen to like the Galxy-Class X-Refit, I've made it buildable in my Star Trek Armada II mod and also upgradable from the original Galaxy-Class. YOu can never have enough Galaxy-X ships flying around, especially when they are cloaked and then revealed as a weaker fleet is totally obliterated.

The only problem I have with my Galaxy-Class X-Refit is that I don't know the HP Points for the weapons to actually get it to use its Phaser Cannon and for the Deflector Beam Weapon too. :(

There is a 4 Nacelled version of the Galaxy-class? I've never seen it, what does it look like? Is it possible to get one for Star Trek Armada II? It sounds like it might be a good addion for my mod, like a hero ship for the Fourth Campaign that I'm making.
