Question about avatars...

A huge thank you to Optec and Dominus_Noctis, your assistance here has been invaluable and has really got me on the right track.

As the guide and Optec has said I editted the CommandInfoBarButtonRect command and changed the values and here is what I got. It has lined up on my screen the three avatars to be in the middle of the screen.

Glad to see that it worked

The "clean" solution would have been to edit the CommandInfoBarPanelArea (this translates the upper-left corner of the avatar "bar" where the buttons are aligned) and not the actual button in respect to its upper-left corner.

but what works, works

I personally tired altering the CommandInfoBarPanelArea after I read your post, but I didn't get any change in positing of the avatars.

Check the gui_5x4 etc files for different resolution aspect ratios, they overrite precisely this setting to move the avatar buttons to the center of the screen
