Boom! Here's a great link for all those who would like to know more about the Fleet Operations timeline!

You're a tittie, Mal.
So then why do we have a Norexan? Or a Prometheus (even though it's not yet in Fleetops)? Or ... A Diamond? Or .... well there were a lot of things that happened. So ...
Wait what am I arguing with the timeline for? I don't care. Lol! I still think if the Voyager location is open to suggestions that Janeway would make a good Admiral.

I think Janeway belongs in a prison! How many worlds has she destroyed, or how many times has she altered the past? Keeping her 70,000 lightyears from the Federation was the best move they ever made!

Lol Mal, you must need to read Sarah Palin's new book "Going Rogue". CLEARLY
Meh, when you're 75 years from home I feel like the rules get stretched. She had that "moral quandary" over and over and over and over and over again during the run of the show so you were SUPPOSED to see how that was a lesson they were teaching you. Most often she'd side with protocal. May I cite the case of Voyager vs. the Equinox over the murder of Alien species to get home?
Picard Show vs. Picard Movies is the same way.

Well, if Janeway was just going rogue because she was so many years away, why didn't Tuvok stop her anti-starfleet acting? If Tuvok wasn't just reduced to Vulcan catchfrases he should have been the one who arrested her directly after she gave the order to destroy the caretaker-station just because "they were already involved"... As a security leader this would have been just logical, something a Vulcan would ever do in the first place.
And that's the point: The plot and the characters of Voyager have been bad-written from the beginning on. All the characters in Voyager are either idiots or just catchfrasing puppets. Even when some of the LATE Voyager-events never occured in FO-timeline, there are enough reasons to make Janeway neither an admiral, nor to give her a new command after returning home because she acted bad and wrong from the beginning on.

1 flaw in there; Vulcans do not work on logic, so Tuvok naturally agrees with his friend. Speaking of Janeway and Tuvok, does anyone else see the attempt to recreate the Kirk/Spock friendship?
Star Trek doesn't have Vulcans, it has straw Vulcans. Logic arguments don't work with them involved. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/StrawVulcan

You are right with the first point, but talking about the "attempt to recreate the Kirk/Spock-friendship": It is just an attempt, I didn't even see it in the show because there is absolutely no chemistry between Tuvok and Janeway. Tuvok feels just artificial when he talks about logic (the catchfrasing does its best to suport this feeling) and Janeway was just annoying and frustrating to watch if considering her a captain, in almost every episode. She felt involved in so many things. I only watched the final episode because I was interested in how this mess ends up. And guess what? janeway already is at home, the first part of the episode is present tense and she travels back in time just to give the Borg a heavy pounding and to save TWO crewmembers when ignoring all the other losses after stranding in the delta quadrant o.ô
What the hell was going on with the storywriters? Were they on drugs or why did they make Janeway such an egomanic? "I'll save Tuvok and Seven, but the nameless died characters of earlier episodes are titties to me"
Great Starfleet-Captain, really o.O
Edit: Enough of that discussion, I'd like to suggest someone else for an avatar:
What about "ambassador Worf"?
With him, Sovereign Class vessels could have higher offensive values, Defiant Class vessels too and maybe they would be equipped with four than two forward pulse phasers, the antares yard could build faster and as his own avatar-vessel may the typhon-class be included (a ship he commanded during the plot of the psx-game ST-Invasion, mix between fightercarrier and battlefortress).
How about that idea?

Worf avatar should give all Defiant Class the 'Ramming speed' ability, you just know he hated not getting a chance to use that. Veteran Defiants get a Bat'leth strapped to the front to make it tougher.
All Defiants should have 4 Pulse Phasers, not just 1 avatar (stupid single-shot sprite!).

A Bat'leth strapped to the front is a funny idea, would suit the Vor'Cha class, too
But Worf would definately make a good avatar (if not necessarily the best) for SF tactical.
I just don't know how to make a senseful use of his function as the ambassador between Federation and Klingons... a hybrid ship type would not be acceptable at all, and a ship of starfleet fitted with klingon weapons would be considerable a joke.

A special Mixed-Tech unit only he gets? All you'd need is to copy the Fed/Klingon yard and add his ship to it in addition to the standard.

Nah, I think this could disrupt the idea of mixed-tech a little.
I had the small thought of Worf getting an alternative to the SF-command station, something like a "klingon mission" which could call in some types of klingon ships via Warpin. "Call Martok for assistance" could be an appropriate special. B'rels, K't'Ingas and Vorchas could be spared I guess.

You mean like the existing Mixed-Tech designs disrupt it? 1 Class is 1 Class, not 1 Scimitar-level ship.

That would disrupt the 'Only Klingons have access to Klingon ships' concept...

That's why I call it a thought and not a serious idea

Yeah, that's not actually correct, see Mal's post (

I'll leave the Janeway stuff to all those who have said it in the previous posts... as that pretty accurately reflects my views too

Well, even if Janeway is an admiral in FO, let it be so, but I don't want to see her face as a choosable avatar every time I open a game with feds. It would just frustrate me to see how many credit is given to such a character.
I really would be happy to see Worf, even Beverly Crusher (Starfleet Medical could be interesting if there are specials for life support, salvage, rescue ships and crew logistics and Crusher would make a logical choice because of her experience, Pulaski would be a little too old I think
) or Kira Nerys instead (I don't know which role Bajor will play in FO's federation).
