Hyperspacejump Effect
Hi, I have a question.
What file-entry I need for a Hyperspacejump-Effect, as seen in the photos?
This effect is from Babylon 5.
I hope you can help me.

which file-entries and Hardpoints do I need

I have never created a super weapon or special ability! I don't know that!

Actually, you should be able to get it to work just by changing the file names. After you've renamed the ODF files to whatever you want, look into the files and check if there are any references to other ODF files you might have renamed (this is usually the case with normal weapon files). Then, there should be a command for the SOD (= model) somewhere in one of those files, put in the file name of your preferred hyperspace model. (Judging from the pics I assume it's the one from B5A2). If you already have one and want to copy it into your mod, don't forget to copy the texture files (TGAs) as well. Then just open the odf of ship xyz and create a new weapon entry - this is pretty much basic stuff you can look up in any good A2 compendium such as the Big Book Of Modding or starbase34. Note that creating the passage does not require any hardpoints for graphical effects - but you must still assign one to the weapon. If you're not sure about them, choose "root" instead of, say, "hp01". Check that your ship has enough special energy to actually use the weapon and you're done.
If this is too fast, or I made any mistakes, I'm sure my fellow modders can explain it better.

Hooray, it's worked! The B5 Mod had several hyperspace jump-Abilities! Fortunately I found the correct files now!
Thank you Terra_inc & Atlantis!!!!!

Ich möchte die Fleet Ops mod in eine Babylon 5 Mod ändern! Die Avatare und die Avatar.odf-Dateien habe ich bereits erstellt!
8 Rassen:
Centauri, (Imperator Cartagia, Lord Refa)
Liga der Blockfreien Welten, (Brakiri Botschafter, Drazi Botschafter)
Erdallianz, (General Lefcourt, Bester Psicorp)
Minbari, (Botschafterin Delenn, Alyt Neroon)
Narn, (Botschafter Gkar, Kriegsherr Nakal)
Rangers, (Ericsson, Marcus Cole)
Schatten (Mr. Morden, Anna Sheridan)
und Vorlonen (Botschafter Kosh I, Botschafter Kosh II/Ulkesh)
Leider, ist der Hitchhikers-Guide auf Englisch und ich verstehe nicht alles! Ich spreche kein Englisch!!!!
Hat jemand eventuell eine deutsche Modding-Anleitung für die Fleet Ops-Mod????

Unfortunately, the Hitchhikers Guide is on English and I don't understand anything! I don't speak English!!
Does possibly anyone a German modding guide for the Fleet Ops mod????

Wow! those are really quite good! If I were you I would talk to RYDERSTORM. He was working on some B5 stuff in FO a while back, and he is a skilled modder.
Also, Terra_Inc and alot of the mod devs are german, so they might be able to translate the pertinent sections for you. Or, you could run it through google translate like you have been doing. It seems to be working quite well.
You can also get google translate as an extension for your browser that will automatically translate an entire page for you. Maybe you should look into that? The broswer Google Chrome does it without addons, but it exists as an addon for most other browsers.
