Help with lightmaps

Because I put a intro thread and only see the Information and General Discussion areas right now.

Never mind, the forum opened when you replied.

Now, if I was to ask if someone could fix the Sovereign, where would I ask? In the (misspelled) 'Modding and Editting' section?

Fixing a material lightning error is one of the easiest modeling tasks. ALl you have is to import the ship in MS3D and then change the material tab and there set Ambient/Specular to black and Diffusive/Emissive to white. Reexport the model and you're done.

Assuming you have the MS3D file, have a working MS3D (which apparently only works on stock ships, anyway) and know what you're doing. None of which apply to me.

2 people from MSFC have offered to help and I sent the files to 1 of them, but I haven't heard back yet so I don't know if he's been able to find the time.
