If anyone has ever downloaded the Admirals Sovereign before, then they will know about the lightmap issue it has (saucer is only half dark, and even show up slightly in pitch black). Could someone here correct that problem for me? I'm kinda clueless about models.

Pluc, could you make a second one use the darker alternate textures? The program I used to use for that no longer seems to exist.

Can you show a screenshot of the scenarios you tested it in? That would help. And maybe have another ship next to it just to give a general perspective of the lighting angle.

sounds like it has incorrect material settings.  :sweatdrop:  I don't know how to fix it though. :whistling:

Sounds like something I've never dealt with before.

No light at all. Stardrive disappears as it should, Saucer still shows up.

yeah, definitly looks like material lighting settings to me.  I would ask around other modding sites as people here aren't as modeling inclined as you might find at ff or msfc.

What is 'msfc' and where do I go to get there? FileFront won't accept my correct login.

OK, so MSFC is apparently useless since validating an account doesn't allow you to post a new thread.

Any other sites?

If you post once in the new member's section, then it will be validated when one of the staff sees it. Tedious, I know

If you mean the 'Introductions' section, that doesn't work either.

Hm, maybe it was wait for validation, then post once, then you are ok to post elsewhere?  :pinch:

yeah, it might be a little difficult to get Registered, but I can almost guarantee your question will be answered if you make a thread there.

It seems your account has been activated, so all you need to do is post in the Introduction section.

Oh, and don't forget to not post links there.  If you just say Admirals Sovereign, they will know what you mean.

Do you have to wait after the Intriduction post?

I don't think so, but I'm not sure.
