Poll says it all. what/who you want to see as cardassian avatars?

If the Cardassians did end up becoming a full race in FO I'd picture them more as a reformist empire. Considering how the Dominion Wars (and the Dominion in general...) left the Union in ruins I'd see the Cardassians shifting their military views, sort of like how humanity did after WWIII. Of course it would be a boring game though if the Cardassians did not have a good military 

My vote is to have a female Cardassian leader come around to fix up the Union.

I doubt they'd change so quickly. The cause of the shift to a military-based culture was the low resources they had, even with Starfleet help, that wont change.

I think adding the cardassians would be awesome as a third avatar for the dominion but i'm not sure how politics would play into their gameplay dynamic...

I picture the cardassia people harboring a lot of resentment towards the other alpha quandrant races....remember the cardasian people are controlled thru propoganda and I think the leaders of the union would not turn inwards to blame for the fall of cardasia nor blame the dominion so much....more or less blame the rebels and Damar more than anything and cite them as examples of "confused/terrorist"....but yes basicly miltaristic leader to recapture the glory for the union.

i lke the cardassian twisted military take on things,dont think they wud be all that changed coz of dominion stuff,but do think there wud be definitive changes,and more then likely a replacement for obsidian order,and room for alot of technological querks due to collaborations with the romulans and then dominion,so lot of scope for sum gr8 unit additions and weapons

Oh now those are awesome...  However the Huhet will (probably) not be an avatar specific item, we aren't using the Loknar class, and i can't quite tell who those people are. I'll contact you after me and neon and gamer nail down the details of the three avatars. Those do look nice though...

The first avatar picture is just a random unnamed Cardassian so he could be an original character of sorts. The second one is a picture of Gul Ocett. Her first ship is the Norin class, which is my favorite Cardassian ship and the second is an advanced defensive post of some sort, since I pictured the Reformists to be more defensive then offensive. The last avatar basically takes advantage of mixed tech I suppose. The first station would be some sort of trading base that generates resources and allows you to warp in Federation aid (basically lots of older federation ships that they can spare to the Cardassians). Just random ideas
