cool i've got it working, im getting Monsoon, intrepid, akira, rhodeisland, and canaverals for risner gonna add constitution refit and miranda then get started on advanced support

maybe as long as i have the permission of you for the excalibur part and whoever made Constitution, Miranda, Hero, Iowa-classes as well because those would be included. i don't know how this will affect the AI though. I do have a question though i've hit another wall. i tried to put in the ships for advanced support in the warpin-special.odf but when i go to call them in it crashes. im wondering if i have to use the regular warpin.odfs and just rename them and rename the build buttons for warpin-special/strategic. someone may want to look at it and change around the randomweight chances too. for this mod in particular for balance i might shrink the range down because my starfleet commands instantly recharge so you can call in about a dozen or so ships in a few seconds that would shorten games considerable. i wonder how to eliminate the warpin cap can i just delete the line that refers to a capfile? this is what my 'warp-in-specialY.odf' looks like:

Well, you can use everything from my Excalibur EXCEPT the model. :sweatdrop: Odf's and everything else were made by me anyway.  I suggest using the model from Tylers mod with my textures(because I technically edited the textures of that model anyway) and possibly my hardpoints since I redid them with glows. It will look almost the same with the exception of a few details left out on his model. :thumbsup:

if i add just one ship to 'warpinspecial' do i need to put a randomweight line?

ok i've all ships working in advanced warpin support except the remore-class, any particular reason someone can think of? please help

i solved the remoore problem.....it was misspelled anyway im testing it with mayson now

i got the norway to warpin... but i have the excelsior's randomweight set at 25 but its coming in EVERY time i warp in. i clicked warpin 21 times and i got excelsior's 20 times and 1 norway. the norway is set at randomweight = 60 so why am i getting an excelsior more often and can i warp in more than three ships at a time maybe say...4 or 5?

is there any particular reason why this configuration won't work? do i need to include positions for all of them and if so how would i calculate it?

well i figured out how to warpin 4 ships at a time but now i can't even put my cursor over the button for advanced warpin without crashing the game its weird

Interesting crash. Care to post the ODFs you changed? :) (no idea what can cause it at the moment, but the ODFs may help)

all i did was change the ships you can call in for advanced support (originally called in descents/excaliburs) i've changed it to Remoore, All Nebula types, ExcelsiorII, Ambassador, Iowa, Hero Centaur and Galaxy but here are the odfs anyway. I did have a similar issue while i was doing Risner's warpins only it would crash on trying to place the starfleet command

Ok, a few things to note:

In fed_warpin_specialAZ

replacement0class8 = "fed_centuarA" //misspelled :)

Seems you didn't upload all the files you changed though, there might be more that one would miss from a quick read-through  :sweatdrop:

In fed_warpin_specialZ

replacement0condition = "unitedfederation"
replacement0class0 = //missing this command and its reference. The game thus does not know which file to use when condition 0 is met.

if i understand right 'fed_warpin-special' refers the game to fed-warpin-specialE then to fed-warpin-specialA which is where the ships are listed correct?
