Another thing about the Probe, it says (in the database) that it has a "large sensor radius." I'm not sure how big the Probe's sensor radius is compared to most Borg ships, but I'm very certain it has a smaller one than the Detector, which is also said by the database to have a "large sensor radius." Some clarification is needed.

The Probe has only an average sensor range, not even close to a scout.

Yeah, that was a relict from ages past :) . It is now removed.

thats kinda what fuelled my recent probe ideas thread, the probe doesnt actually do any probing above what you get from other borg ships. Well actually as scouts, scoutcubes are better, as their name would imply :p

from the scube unit analysis

It has three possible combinations, although only two of them are useful.

do u mean 3 module combinations? this must have been written before em module. now its 4 combinations, beam is still the least awesome, but i think it has some very specific uses. if you are willing to commit to making a lot of beam scubes and your enemy has a lot of low defence beam ships, then they can work. problem is what do you think of when somebody says "low def beam ship"? of course its the dominion bug, and if those are being made, dodecas will be a far better counter. the monsoon is way too fast to get munched by beam scubes i think, intercept scubes probably do a lot better because of pure dps against mons. maybe sabres could be handled with it. nobody really goes sabres vs borg though. its not that the beam scube has no uses, its just that any time you can use it, another strat will do a better job.

Yup,  seems I did not correct that :)

Beam Scubes will never work unfortunately  :sweatdrop: There is no situation at all where they will do better than the other modules unfortunately.

no situation where they do better than their friends for sure, but there are situations where they dont fail i think. just there is no point winning £10 when you could win £15

Sadly, even against Sabers and similar beam based ships, they will die  :sweatdrop:

ouch thats harsh, i saw them in a replay and they werent failing, they must not have been getting punished enough lol.

i wonder how the beam module could be made more useful. maybe if it didnt split damage but still gets its beam resistance.

Hehe, harsh yes, but sadly a known quantity for their entire existence  :D . There will be some changes to the Module for 3.1.6 :)

I noticed that the u_ball_object and utribeam classlabels are missing in the modding section of the guide for weapons.  Can you add those?

PS:  Sorry if this doesn't count as a problem/error.

Yup, that's because u_ball_object is a gameObject classlabel, and utribeam is a ordnance classlabel :) . Once those two sections are complete, they will of course be released  ^-^

genspec unit analysis lists 25% torp damage reduction, database entry lists the new 15% value

quote from /strategy/romulan

If your opponent does use the Graviton Detection Grid to try and find your ships, he or she will most likely scan areas that are next to your shipyards, or within your mining expansion (instead of further away).

thats the old thing from before pings.
