Older Versions of Fleet Ops

Does anyone know where I can find older versions of Fleet Ops? I know that ModDB has back to 3.0, as does Armada2Files, but I'm wanting to find versions earlier than 3.0, and haven't found any yet.

speaking of beta 2, if you're gonna play beta 2 you have to chor spam at least once. cutting down an enemy fleet with constructors is satisfying in a weird way.

Just extract the files and a run it as a mod of current Fleet Operations :)

Beta 2 was funny, when warpin still used a workaround with the rift-code from A2 :D

I have a question about Beta 2. I know that the more recent versions of FleetOps have something in it which allows Armada2 to run on systems with more than 2Gb of RAM. I know the Armada 2 patch 1.2.5 does the same thing, but when I try to install this patch, the installer says that I'm trying to patch a FleetOps installation and that the 1.2.5 patch isn't compatible with FleetOps.

Is there any way I can get this to work (1.2.5 patch and FO Beta 2)? Do I need to install the patch first, then install the Beta 2? Or do I need to do something else? Thanks!

Just run Beta 2 as a mod of Fleet Operations. Create a mods folder, extract the files into the appropriate locations, and all should be well :).

I tried to run FO 2.0 as a mod but I crash as soon as i try to launch the game.. :-

edit: i tried to go into map edit and create map and still crashed...

I got it to work with a little finangling:

I've attached a screenie of what my working folder looks like.

When starting a game, make sure you load default settings, save them. Now choose a Fleet Operations map to play on. If you don't do that, it'll crash, guaranteed (for some reason I'm not sure of yet).

You don't need an info file to get it to work. Mine just contains information on what the mod is.
