I think the worst problem in that game that none of you had any cloak detection. One EM Scube plus some Probes/other Scubes as guards and you could have possibly made some pressure.
Assims are nice if your teammate can support you. But I pretty much kept ray in his base or at his exp, that way you were on your own with an Assim that had large torps that didn't hit their small targets

If you see that your opponent starts to spam sangs like hell you have to react. Givin them their favourite target is not the best opton

Another idea: we were both Klingons, ray was Klingons --> Adaptors for the win

So, is Assim Borg OP or not, and is it an abuse to use Assim Assims???
And btw: What should i have done instead of squander ships 1 by 1 like an AI? When i wait for 2 or even 3 Assims then i am up against minimum 7-10 KBQ and 6-9 Sangs, which will slaughter me too...

Neither avatar is overpowered or underpowered
. People generally like the Optimize avatar better due to cheaper units and easier supply gain, but of course that comes at the downside of no Pyramid or defensive/CC boost to the Assimilator (and better Auto-Assim). 
Remember to alter your build order to fit the situation: Adaptors with adaption modules are nice, but not against small sized units where you'll miss 40% of the time. Likewise, if you are facing relatively high crew, small sized units, an Assimilator will be a poor match. Interception Scout Cubes with Probe backup as well as Dodecahedrons will prove more than capable for such a situation.

I run a kid processing plant in my house. You know, making kid burgers, sausages, taco meat and the like... It's not uncommon to hear a few screams and pleads for mercy.... 
Seriously, though...I have a pretty time consuming job and still finishing up my doctorate in business so Fleet Ops is the escape from reality I am allowed from my wife as opposed to drinking etc...
