Fleetoperations Intro: The Moment You've Been Waiting for!

    After many months of work, and long nights on the computer, I present you with the finished project. That's right; its finaly finished!  In the past month, alone, I have added over twice as much content including completely reworked explosions, a redone beginning, and all the races now have some screentime!  Before you watch it I just would just like to thank everybody for their great feedback and support for this project, and I'd like to give special thanks to Dominus Noctis for having the patience to contanstly deal with an annoying 15 year old kid all the time. 
   The project was animated and rendered in a program called Lightwave 3d. You can check it out at NewTek LightWave where you'll find a list of TV shows and movies that use it such as all the new Star Trek series and movies. I pilfered most of the high quality models from Foundation 3D and the star trek mesh collection (google it ). Some of these modelers include Prologic9, Sarod, Magma, Arrghman, mattc, Fabio, Ralph Schoberth, Ian Bremner, and many other talented modelers. The rest were pulled from ingame. The music is easily recognisable  from the new movie composed by Michael Giachino and a few parts were peiced by Jery Goldsmith.
   Finally, I'd like to dedicate this video to the Fleetops Devs and Staff for creating this masterpiece of a game that outlives everyone's expectations by far. It must be very demanding and hard, but yet, you manage to please just about everyone. And so, I'd just like to say thank you one more time, and keep up the outstanding work.

thats awesome, one thing that could be cool tho, is to make the galaxy class seperate or somthing, and have the stardrive warp into an enemy ship while the saucer tries to flee, and then have the saucer get blown up or somthing, or live

I like the idea, but I dont really think you can do that in the game? Just between you and me, some people like to see the fedies get crused.

well thats what im saying, they feds would still get crushed,

so the galaxy gets hit fires back, seperates, saucer rams into the bug dominion ship, the dominion ship tho of course just shrugs it off, the saucer tries to escape but torpedos slam into its hull and blow it up

Awesome intro indeed... I love how some of the explosion effects have improved since the last time... notably the Excelsior's destruction. This is awesome and I can't wait to see more.

Oh, my brother won't like it  , Feds just losing all the time...

But it's really great work!!! Every Fo species and many FO ships are in, I like it. May we have the music in the multimedia pack  ?

It looks great love the part where the perigine flys thru the warbird it reminds me of the part where worf does the same in the old game

ray320: Everything shown in the video is stuff that can happen in the game, so I don't think the Galaxy will be able to separate.

Just to be clear, this will be the FO intro for the upcoming patch (as in is it in the game)?

but at the moment we do not intend to include a cinematic in the download. Still quite impressive work. You should aim for an career in that direction
