So now that we've made an introduction thread, funny mentioned needing in game content to add.  I wanted to create this thread, so that you can posts links to footage you've created, etc.

Basically, we need 2 kinds of footage for each ship.  We need:

-Around 10 seconds (this will be edited) of 3D shots of each ship at its best.
-Around 20 seconds of the ship fighting and using its special, preferably following the best uses as described in the hitchhiker's guide (as the tutorials follow these descriptions, so they should match up.)

All you need is a youtube account, fraps, and then link your footage to this thread.  We'll need the in game sounds as well, of course.  These scenes will eventually have voice overs and background music, so if you decide to create footage, please turn the in game music and in game voices off, but leave the firing sounds on.   It also needs to be in at least 720p quality, on the highest graphics quality and anti aliasing that FO offers, so that the footage is top notch.

Another useful fact is that you can press cnl i I believe in order to turn off all of the ui

isnt that by entering cine into the chat box u remove ui?

If you hit Ctrl+I repeatedly the UI can be made to disappear too

You might ask zeich or optec if they would do some maya renderings for the first part.

Is this video for just the stock content, or can I make a video of an addon ship using it's specials?

Only for the stock content, I'm afraid.

The hope is that this will better inform people of Optec and Doca's mod, and help newer players starting out in multiplayer, and by extention, instant action.

This might give you some ideas if you wanted to do something similar for your own content, though.

Well, I took a couple video editing classes in high school, and I sort of remember how to use Premiere Pro, so if you guys have any footage for me to mess around with, I'll see what I can do
