could be ...  a lot harder than merciless. imagine your enemy with 6 yards spamming norways and eIIs and an sfc which never misses even a second when it can warp in.

Then turn it's resource cost/build time down to the bare minimum...

ofc that makes the ai harder, but it doesnt alter the buildlist to force it to spam norways and eIIs

You are aware that build time effects how rapidly ships come out of the yard and cost effects how long you can build for, right? Even noobs know that!

yes im aware of that, what gave you the impression i wasnt?

The second part of the comment sounded like a fancy way to say 'it wouldn't do anything'.

nope, it would definitely make the AI super hard, just it would spam all ships, not the exploitables.

It would spam what the build list tells it to spam.

i know, which isnt only the norway and eII, as i mentioned. my comical imagining was altering the build list so it would do exactly that, spam only norways and eII. an AI that exploits the unbalanced ships

Read the first part of my cost/time alter post, it was an addition to that.

i dont get what u mean.

A = Change build list
B = Change time/cost

A+B = Change both

i was suggesting A, change the list to make it spam norways and EII.

A+B would of course make it even harder. probably no way to beat it unless u do equally nasty things like kvort spam.

Regarding the original issue, rather than the defination of 'sliders to minimum'...

There is one thing important about the Borg having hit the El'Aurians.  The Collective adds the traits of those it assimilates to the Collective.  The El'Aurians are immune to the power of Q.  This means that the continuum can't just blink the Borg Collective out of existance.  All the El'Aurian drones would survive and just rebuild.

El-Aurians are long-lived and great listeners, I doubt they have any more unique traits. Guinans 'abilities' most likely relate to her alternate half inside the Nexus. Other El-Aurians are just long-lived Humans.

As for 'immune to Q power', where is that from? I've seen evidence that Guinan and Q don't like each other, but noting more. Q also offered Picard to deal with her himself, and he wasn't in a joking mood when he said it.
