Yeah, I mostly use ships from Starbase34, but that Enterprise-D is from Ghosts Comp Mod. Both of the Enterprises there are seperate shipe, not replacements of the Soveregin and Galaxy class models

So they are hero ships? If the Enterprise-D isn't from S34, that explains why it doesn't have the Venture's markings.

If they're not replacements, is that why you haven't butchered (removed) the names like most people do?

Yeah, they're hero ships. Since I'm not all that well-versed in the sense of setting up values and having different rank-up .odfs, I've made them extremely powerful, but also extremely expensive to build.

1. I don't have any of the tools needed to convert TGA files into files that I can edit.
2. The Enterprise-D is my favorite starship in all of Star Trek, so even if I could edit out the registry, I wouldn't.

I've already done that in Bridge Commander... With about 12+ ships of different Classes (5 of which are in A2, too).

Yeah, as long as the program that I use to switch textures didn't butcher the model...

Just had an idea. If the team could be bothered, all warp-in ships could have registries on the hull, since they don't have build buttons. But it would take a lot of work and I guess wouldn't match the shipyard ships.

Why does the lack of a button mean something there?

1. USS Comet
2. USS Melbourne-A
3. Seems Warbird Class are still built...

I wonder if there is something that could be coded in where it 'pastes' the name or registery on the ship on certain hps like "Reg1" and "RegB"?

You'd need it set up like in Legacy...
