I wonder if it might end up as another Experimental Warp-In unit to be honest :) . I don't think it will be replacing the Canaveral - it's relatively new - but the Nova was once supposed suggested to serve a special purpose in Fleet Operations.

The Nova will be part of the greater Federation Redo and we are quite sure it will be a short range vessel, focused around the fact of being "deep-space-capable". What that means in detial is open to speculations of course :shifty: I can't speak now. The Tal'shiar is everywhere..

    I am all in favor of replacing the venture scout with a nova scout :woot:

sure it would be a little over powered, but does that really matter :D

It matters, you'd have a destroyer for a scout (imagine how the Klingons would react, stealing their ideas)... and I like the Venture!
