Will we ever see the Cardasians on FO?

I love this game and I wouldn't try to tell you guys how to do things.  But, I wanted to know why didn't you guys add the Cardasians and are there any plans on adding them in the future?

  Cardassians will be in the game as non playable race. You will be able to hire them as mercenaries.

Hmmmm, I guess that will have to do then.  Any reason why they won't be a playable race?  Just wanting to know.

The cardassians are no longer allied with the Dominion and dont play a major role in the Fleet Operations storyline, however they will be introduced as a non-playable-Ai faction

I remember Optec saying that there would eventually be a wiki for these things, like tech, story, etc.

There is no Obsidion Order, only the Tal Shiar survived the pre-war attack on the Dominion.

does that mean it will never be re-established. even 20 years in the future?
