USS Allegiance

I think we are getting off topic. I realy have no opinion on the New Orleans. I was talking about the USS Allegiance as a replacement of the Galaxy Class. The feds have plenty of ships. I thinkt that any additions to the feds should be a replacement only.

Why would the Galaxy need replacing? It's a Warp-In...I thought Yard ships are the ones they are replacing...

i think the orleans would make a good ship in the rows of the federation.
according to memory-alpha it is a rather phaser based ship(4 phaser banks, one torp launcher), because right now all middle-lategame ships of the feds are torpedo heavy(in excludance of the phalanx)

For some reason, I don't quite see a Repair/Medical ship as a 'Good Ass-Kicker'.
