USS Allegiance

I may be posting in the wrong spot. Do you know if the uss allegiance will be included in the next version? I personaly think it is the best looking ship I have seen. If not, do you know if anybody has created it for fleet ops. I dont know how to build it my self. Again, I apologize if this has been covered in the past.

as i know, the uss orleans will be the new shps for the feds, taking the place of the akira with the akira getting pushed up in the techtree^^

The New Orleans class is on the project progress page...but I would have assumed it would be a warp-in rather than a buildable one :

The New Orleans can't replace the Akira if it is a Warp-In. It's one or the other.

Yeah, that's what I meant...I was saying that rather than it being a buildable replacement for the Akira, it would probably just be a normal warp-in

As far as I remember, Optec said that the New Orleans was only because he really likes it, and my inference is that it will be a map object... I shall inquire as my memory has failed me .

I'm pretty sure that the replacement to the Akira is supposed to be a small ship that we've already seen.

A map object never occured to me....heh.

And by "that we've already seen", do you mean one that's already in the game (eg a destroyer getting bumped up to fulfil the Akira's role) or one that we've seen on-screen?

The New Orleans would be a great Warp-In. It's TNG-Era, so there should still be some left in Starfleet.

I think the New Orleans would actually become a new ship for Mayson. Because personally Mayson needs another large chassis vessel.

It would likely be a Defensive cruiser because it has slower speed than a Galaxy (realistically). Plus I also think that it may be one of few ships with no specials, because the Feds got plenty of Special ability ships.

The Olympic Class could actually act as a Support Battlecruiser if equipped with my idea of the Metaphasic wave.

The Allegiance class has multiple perspectives... so which one do you want? I want another canon ship never yet featured.
