Already asked by yours truely, Optec said it would be thrown in as a merc ship regardless of it being made by romulans and by romulan parts, so it's a dumb idea, but nothing I can do.

it should really be the romulans end ship, most expensive and such.

Yep but Optec will smote thee if ye asks for it some more.

simple no :P the remans are neither allied with the romulans nor would the romulans ever ever use an ALIEN starship or design :) they would at least paint it green and give it another name :) And thats nothing i want to add to FO. You will have to live with the Tavara ;)

Of course it was built with romulan parts, and it was more powerful then the Enterprise, which means the romulans would be in great demand for a few of them to use against their sworn enemies...

I suppose so, and with the reman placing there supporters in the romulan government that might happen. ;) ;)

I thought that the whole scorpion project was so secret etc etc that all the engineers were probably on board for the checkride and all died in the explosion, hence to more scorpions. Besides, it was a single unit production run designed to deploy an illegal superweapon, the Romulans have no use for such a wasteful ship. The Norexan class (and in FO the Tavara) are just fine thank you.

hehe, sure, i'd like to see it but not as part of the romulans - they do already have their tavara and unrealistic as said above

i don't think it was a very well thought of design. it had it's super cloak and tons of super weapons but lot of weak points too. first it was beaten by the enterprise and second the hull does look like paper when both crash into another. the enterprise only did have a few scars while the scimitar had a big hole in their hull

I wouldn't want it's theyleron generator, I just want the rest of it

didn't the enterprise suffer massive damage to the saucer section? looked pretty smashed up to me.

The saucer damage to the EE was actually pretty slight, if you look closely only the deck closest to the surface is really smashed up, the SIF saved the internal decks from any real damage. Also note at end of movie it's only been a few weeks and the EE is practically fully repaired at the shipyard. The scorpion had great shields and lots of weapons, but on the whole I would say for that kind of expenditure of resources the Dominion designs are far more powerful.

i think the one that couldn't be repaired would have been the scimitar if they tried to after the crash. the internal structure isn't as good as on other vessels. the scimitar may have a good hull but they saved ressources when they did the internals.

The Scimitar does have weaker hull plating then the E-E.
