Tavara Vs Cube

One of the few things I dont understand in FO is why the **** is tavara stronger than the cube? Isnt cube supposed to be some sort of HUGE, almost invincible ship that takes A LOT of effort to kill. I mean if tavara is stronger than that, I mean WTF. Is it invincible or something?

Anyhow in my opinion The Borg Cube (when I say it like that you can just picture it, how much everyone who crosses it fear it,..) should basically be the strongest ship in Star Trek, simple as that. No Rommie super ship should be stronger.

What do u think?

well the cube should be like a super ship, a hero unit, a ship so strong you can only make one or two, a ship so terrifiing you yell out in horror OH THE HORROR!
so, no, the tavara shouldn't even be a match againt the cube

(yeah we share the same affection for the rommies)

yep cubes should be super ships as thats how they are depicted in the trek universe, BUT if you do make them super, as said you'll only be able to build a couple tops, where as in trek its: *the lone survivor in a shakey voice* "there were hundreds of cubes, no escape!" mg:

That could be done easily with credits.
About the hundrets of cubes.....
...well nothing can be PERFECTLY canon, cause for instance federation only has like 5 sovies in its whole fleet, EVERYONE who plays the feds has at least 16-32 in every game so it would be kind of dumb the borg could build like 100 cubes and feddies like 5 sovies wouldnt it

well there is one dillema, i agree cube has to be more powerfull then tevara, but to do that you have to up the resource costs. and if you do that the tavara will be still more powerfull because you can build them much quicker. The borg big disadvantage is the long building times and the amount or resouses they need for ships. so in the end making cube powerfull but costs more has no effect against rommies as borg ships already costs too much alrready. so if u build one cube, the rommies would have build up a more powerfull fleet to destroy it anyway

Borg cubes aren't all powerful, it is generally believed that there are two types of standard cubes, the ones in TNG, long range, single mission ones and voyager cubes, smaller shorter range cubes but powerful in there own right.

We all know that, its just the question is pretty simple, shoud a tavara be stronger than the cube?
About the balancing, you can easily compensate with spheres and as admarilryan said smaller cubes, this, however, is about the single mission, TNG ones

well i think that the cube should be a super ship, the strongest one in the game, as i see it, the cube takes the role of a super ship and the sphere can take the role of the battle ships, since they'r preety strong

i voted no, but you all so have to keep in mind the game needs to be balints uther wise the bog make 1 cub and win the game.

i think it would be good if the only way you could stop a cube(1) is to withdraw all your fleet and make a big stand near your base using your bases defences to help you defeat it! but cost a **** of a lot of resources and take a long time to build

well as i seee it the cube should be about 5 times stronger as it is now, plus it would be nice if it could actually build other ships.
